Will Obama,"Bring Full Weight of The Law
To Bear On Anyone Involved!" Himself Too?

By Jay Janson

Millions of us heard President Obama in his statement regarding the most recent US military atrocity of the massacre of sixteen Afghani in their homes during the night, nine of them children, "... and I will bring the full weight of the law down upon anyone involved."

Well, who on this blessed Earth is more primarily "involved" than the Commander-in-chief himself, who sent this poor devil who is accused of this insane mass-murder, which is only one of many reported since he took office acclaiming the intelligence of his plan to take thirty-five thousand troops from Iraq and send them into the other US war of occupation in Afghanistan?

Yours truly and the reader is also "involved" according to the same President Obama, for he has often solemnly stated that these armed Americans are representing all Americans, and I am an American (in this case unfortunately so). Of course, I could try to cop out of involvement by claiming the President was not telling the truth because our Constitution the Congress and not the President the power to declare wars.

My minister, and probably yours, is "involved," because even if he or she might not have given his or her blessing to young parishioners shipping out to Afghanistan to fight and kill in order to occupy that poor nation, for ten years, he or she has not cautioned that it be a sin to follow such immoral commands.

Of course all the war praising and justifying network anchors and commentators are as "involved" as they have been in all the atrocities and massacres against indigenous populations in US wars in Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Dominican Republic, Lebanon, Panama, Grenada, Somalia, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen and Libya.

The members of Congress, rubber stamping a criminal foreign policy of wars, as Martin Luther King Jr. condemned as meant to maintain "unjust predatory overseas investments" are deeply "involved" in each and every atrocity, massacre and loss of life of even the brave soldiers of these poor countries that sought to defend their nation from US military attack and occupation.

The most obvious hands on involvement is of space age high tech armed Americans in uniform acting under a most frighteningly weird, inhumane and blind code of following orders, most any orders, against a poor population in their own homes, in the name of a patriotism inculcated from grade school and only rarely investigated in adult life.

The above mentioned "involvements" are all quite obvious to any honest person who is at all awake to what is happening in this world dominated by one great superpower nation of people.

Not so obvious for having been cleverly masked, is the causal "involvement" of the most powerful and influential of the wealthiest within the investment community who for pathetic reasons of accumulation of capital, conceived, prepared for, planned, falsely promoted as fearfully necessary through the media conglomerates they own and approved and ordered by financially beholden elected officials under their influence.

Prestigious names of leading families and our largest corporations, who to a amazing degree have been "involved" in backing if not investing in all US wars in small impoverished nations trying to free themselves from their colonial era masters since the great war, in which great fortunes were made in low wage Nazi labor to build Hitler's Germany to the number one military power in the world capable of eliminating that great menace to the colonial powers, the Soviet Union.

When the President promised to bring the full weight of the law to bear on anyone "involved," there was surely no intention of bring the law to bear on himself or any the big names investors and investment banks they own, the CEOs and presidents of these banks, the presidents of our great American universities who have presented no obstacle to corporate media disinforming, misinforming, misleading, blacking out the truth and frightening the public with preposterous scares of imminent attack from abroad.

These basic criminal acts and not just "involvements" of a going along nature like ours, and have been quite cleverly covered from public notice, except for the exceptionally perceptive and brave, like Martin Luther King Jr., who decried our acquiescent involvements as immoral deserving of the Dante's "hottest fires in Hell" and said his government was "the greatest purveyor of violence in the world." [see King Condemned US Wars Awareness] http://kingcondemneduswars.blogspot.com/

And King was silenced, raised to national recognition for his challenge to racism, and his words of condemnation of US wars for predatory investments made taboo or inappropriate to ever mention again.

P.S. in his world shaking sermon Beyond Vietnam, a Time to Break Silence, King anguished over his time of silent 'involvement' before speaking out on that morning.
