ViBGYOR Film Festival-2015: Film Submission Deadline Extended To December 10th

Welcome to the 10 th Edition of ViBGYOR International Short & Documentary Film Festival, to be held in Thrissur, Kerala , India from February 16-21, 2015 . The last date for film submission is extended to DECEMBER 10th, 2014
You may submit your films ( documentary/ short-fiction/ music video/ animation/ spot/ experimental ) for SELECTION PREVIEW. Only films produced and released after 1 st January 2013 will be selected under the Open Category . An eminent panel of Jury will select the final set of films for screening at ViBYOR-2015.

Film Spectrum
One may submit films under the following packages:
• FOCUS OF THE YEAR
• ViBGYOR THEME PACKAGE/S
• KERALA SPECTRUM
• OTHER (short fiction, music video, animation, experimental and spot films)
-For Short Fiction there is no theme specification (any theme acceptable, any film under 40minutes duration)
-The theme for the `Focus of the Year-2015' package is ‘Green Growth' .
-Under the ViBGYOR package, there are seven themes, namely: 1) Identities 2) Rights 3) Gender & Sexualities 4) Fundamentalism & Diversity 5) Developmentalism 6) Nation State and 7) Culture & Media .
-Under Kerala Spectrum package, only films made by filmmakers residing in Kerala ( documentary films based on `Kerala' themes, short fiction and `Focus-Children') films will be considered .
• There is an Entry Fee of INR.300 for National/Kerala Spectrum entries and $10 for `International' entries. You may submit more than one film, but each entry should comply with all submission requirements.
• Don't forget to upload a high resolution still (grabbed from your film, not less than 2MB) from your film/s. We also need a photograph of the director/s , for promotion and publicity purposes.
• Two DVD copies should be submitted for Selection Preview purpose. We entertain film uploads only as exception, due to limitations in internet access in our region,. If your film is selected, you could send higher formats (like HD) as Exhibition copy.
• Please note the change in our Festival office address, where you should send your film packets: ViBGYOR, 5 th Floor, Sun Towers , East Fort, Thrissur, 68005 Kerala , India . Tel. 9447000830 / 9447893066 . Please mention your Online Film Entry Registration number on all discs, packets and in all further communications.
• We grant THREE Film Fellowships to three deserving young filmmakers whose films are entered under the National/ Kerala Spectrum sections. There are no Awards for National/ International entries.
• The Kerala Spectrum-Short Fiction is a Competitive category with cash prizes.
• The filmmaker/s or one representative of all selected films are invited to attend the festival and assured of local hospitality (we do not pay for travel expenses).
