Why America Hates And Despises Victims

By Eric Zuesse

Here are photos of residents in southeastern Ukraine and of their homes that we bombed yesterday, and you see the corpses, and the grieving survivors.

But Americans call them "terrorists," even though these people never were that, and even though America is funding the terrorism against all the residents in southeastern Ukraine, to force them to either die or else flee, so that they won't be able to vote in future Ukrainian elections, and so that the government we installed in a February coup in Kiev will stay installed, even if Ukraine becomes again a democracy. The residents in that region had voted overwhelmingly for the President whom we overthrew on February 22nd. The mock-election that we held in Ukraine on May 25th had excluded any candidate that our government didn't first approve of, but President Obama wants Ukraine to be a democratic base for NATO missiles against Russia, not just a fascist dictatorship like we installed on February 22nd. Democracies are much more stable than dictatorships, and Obama wants the Ukrainian public to approve of the nuclear missiles that he’s planning to install there. Obama wants anyone in Ukraine who doesn't like the idea of Ukraine joining NATO to either die or else leave Ukraine, and that's why we're bombing the people there -- to just get rid of them, so we'll have the kind of democracy we want there: a NATO democracy – a Russia-hating democracy.

Here is the full explanation of why we perpetrated that coup and are now trying to get rid of the people in southeastern Ukraine. (Just click on that, and it'll appear.)

And here is an article about a curiously related subject: it's headlined "Family Calls 911 As Son Threatens Suicide, Cops Show Up And Kill Him." The article makes clear that this police-shooting of depressed people is not just a one-time event in a country that despises and hates depressed people, victims, and all other types of perceived or actual failures. (Hitler called them “parasites.”)

The news-reporting that appears in U.S. media, is hiding, instead of reporting, the real rottenness, the rottenness that’s now become a cultural rot, bringing this country down. America's top 0.1% are booming, in the new and increasingly unequal America, and these few people control the news-media, in order to deceive the public about the source of America’s malaise; so, since they hire and fire the reporters to produce that deception, you probably have a very false view of what’s actually wrong in this country, and of who and how this country is actually being controlled, and for whose benefit -- the top 0.1%, the winners.

That top 0.1% are definitely not victims, and they can do very well in a society that despises victims and that treats victims like dirt. In fact, if the public's hatred is directed against the victims instead of against the victimizers, then the top 0.1% will be super-safe, regardless of how much victimization they are actually causing (such as by polluted food, water, air, or planet).

Maybe, someday, after a second American Revolution, democracy will be restored here. But no signs, as of yet, are indicating that it's likely.

Just click on those links that have been presented here, and try to explain what you see there, just by relying on the news reports you have seen in the news-media. It can't be done. Maybe Americans should stop trying to do it. Maybe Americans should see through the ruse, instead of to continue falling for it.

There is no real reason why victims should be despised. Americans should just see through the ruse, and get over it. But that would be dangerous for the top 0.1%, and they’d probably say it’s “envy,” “Marxism, “populism,” or anything else than what it would actually and only be: seeing through their ruse. That would be very dangerous indeed, for the top 0.1%, who would thus much prefer for the public to continue being suckers, who blame victims.

So, this is why all those people we’re bombing in Ukraine receive absolutely no sympathy from America’s “news” media: those people we are bombing are victims. And those “news” people are paid by the people who are behind those bombings. After all, if it weren’t so, you’d already have known about the U.S.-sponsored ethnic cleansing campaign throughout southeastern Ukraine. And that’s why you probably haven’t read, or seen on TV, lots and lots about it. Or, maybe, anything about it.
