The Zionist Terror Is The Major Cause Of Islamic Fundamentalism, Wars And Terrorism

By Dr Salim Nazzal

Europe's busy at the moment inductively for answers about what can be done after the terror that hit the French capital. But all the comments and analyses do not seem that Europe has come to the key question, about the reasons of the Arab and Muslim hostility towards the west.

And the Islamic fundamentalism is the irrational product of this hostile environment. This hostility did not come overnight, and did not come as well by parachute, but has a clear history, title and address. So as long as Europe closes eyes towards the real reasons the Middle East and the world are moving towards more terror and chaos.

The problem first and foremost related to the Zionist occupation in the heart of the Arab region. Jews did not come to Palestine as refugees from the wars, but terrorists supported by the west, trained to kill before their arrival in Palestine.

The Zionist terrorists from Europe planted bombs in the heart of Palestinian cities in the Haifa and in Jaffa and in Jerusalem. And killed and expelled the inhabitants of this country. And enforced a state that the West recognizes and support, overseeing the millions of Palestinian victims who paid and still the price of this terror.

Europe needs to be reminded of its own history and responsibility.. Who sent the Zionist terrorists to Palestine, who supplied them with arms, and facilities their movements, and who recognized the state of Israel, which all its existence is based on terror in the past and in the present. And who supported the Israeli occupation all the way from 1948 and in 1967 and until now. And who defended and still the Zionist terror? The Answer is obvious, Europe and the Us.

So the terror which the French people experienced is only a small portion of what Palestinians experienced since the Zionist terrorists were enforced by the west to Palestine. The pain of the loss of loved ones is well known to the Palestinians before and now, and during 65 years of Zionist terrorism supported by France and the west. So France needs to rethink its position towards terror because it supported and still the Zionist terror. But when the victims were Palestinians, it was alright, but once they experienced a bit of terror, and the victims were French, then it is different.

The Palestinian people solidarity with the French victims is sincere and real because Palestinians know the pain of terror and leave it on a daily basis.

The Zionist state is the major reason for the spread of the culture of war and terror throughout the middle east. Three or four Palestinian generations saw and experienced the Zionist terror and humiliation, which was supported by the west. The Palestinian victims never understand why the west talks about human right, and support Zionists who violate every aspect of the question of human rights. Without this climate of Zionist terror, there would have been no environment for the Islamic fundamentalism to grow in the middle east. The Islamic fundamentalism is in the final analysis the product of years of Zionist terror, and the western support. In other words the Islamic fundamentalism is the irrational response to the Zionist terror in the region.

We need a global march, around the world, for all nations and cultures. To support a dignified life free of humiliation, injustice , torture, poverty for all. And to be against all forms of oppression, violence and terror.

So it is not enough to condemn alone the terror of Paris. All forms of terrorism must be condemned because there is no five-star and one-star terrorism. This should be the lesson which France(and others) must learn from.

Dr. Salim Nazzal, a Palestinian-Norwegian historian on the Middle East, He has written extensively on social and political issues in the region.
