When Bhakts Run India: I’m Mark Twain’s Famous Stupid!

When the famous author Mark Twain quoted,
“Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience”
Little that he knew that his quote will be hugely popular and applied in an eastern country called India in the year 2015. Little that he knew that the word “stupid” will be the copy right of the religious fanatics, right wing dispensation and their arrogant “know everything” kind of supporters.
India is going through a phase where apart from “history and science” english vocabulary is also getting a makeover. The primary reason for a change in history and science as propagated by the Sangh Parivar is its left leaning scripts. However the changes in english is purely driven by the supporters of the current dispensation. Words like “stupid, nationalist, sedition, secularism, intellectual” are the copy right of these unbridled blind followers of the current dispensation and its masters.
This group consists of a wide range of people starting from cadres of the Sangh Parivar who are brain washed with radicalism and hatred to some selfish professional corporate honchos who otherwise analyze every facts and figures in their day to day professional life but brazen out when it comes to supporting the government to senior leaders who openly scream of stripping nobel prizes to fringe elements who abuse respected people and sensible common man publicly time and again to a stage managed group of people in social media who more often than not forget the basic culture of India and keep abusing anybody and everybody .The behavior of these bhakts (blind followers) are so much synchronized that that the entire brigade speak the same language and verbatim irrespective of their education, social background , social status ,wisdom .Amazing ! Is not it?
A great sense of authoritarian integration can be found among these Sangh cadres, some highly educated and successful professionals, senior seasoned leaders of BJP and few NRIs dreaming an America, Dubai or Singapore to be instated in problem ridden unequal India at the expense of struggling livelihood of common people, basic amenities and a divided society .
Its always funny to interact with a bhakt (blind supporter) and know their prospective. If you say all good things about the prime minister and his governance you are considered a nationalist by them. If you don’t you are immediately handed over a certificate of anti-nationalist. A nobel laureate like Prof Amartya Sen who is a pride of India and for all most all sensible Indians has been audaciously recommended stripping of his Nobel title none other than a senior parliamentarian and ex journalist because Prof. Sen’s suggestion that government is not inclusive. If you discuss and debate and question about this behavior against a giant in world of economics you will be handed over the “stupid” certificate .You got to agree with these blinds that Hindus had invented aircraft but the invention is hijacked by western scientists or else you are anti Hindu . At the same time if any scientist in India feels that a section of people are showing intolerance then the very scientist is a fake scientist . He is biased and not an “intellectual” anymore because a scientist should only talk about science as per RSS the most adulterated cultural organization of the world. If you debate and say a scientist can’t be right or left wing and should be heard then you receive another certificate for “stupid” tag. Wow! People like me have got so many of them within 18 months of this current dispensation and over whelmed with that.
One of my dear friends who work in Silicon Valley has even funnier analogies to make. He will not believe any person or any data which is not supportive of Modi or his government irrespective of their historical credibility . He has almost thrown the entire journalist fraternity, renowned economists, professors and TV channels into trash bag in the last eighteen months who are not supportive of the government. He would not spare foreign media also if they write articles not supportive of Modi and interpret them as leftist media .In other words every legitimate and proven institutions and aspects of the world are conspiring against Modi government is the explanation you would listen from these blind followers if it is not in favour of the government of the day. The World Bank report or UN reports where India has not progressed well under current dispensation are all wrong reports and these organizations are not credible as per these bhakts (blind followers). Reports like human development index where India is in 135th in the world or world happiness index where India is 117 in the world or ease of doing business where India climbed 12 points and 8 points are credited to UPA government are all misleading and should be put to trash bags as per his opinion and the likes. The most hilarious part is when I find many of my friends argue exactly in the same tone and verbatim like the California techie does. One gets amused by the level of brazening similarity between them irrespective of their location in many parts of the world. The brazening that the current government is a holy creation which can never commit a single mistake. Institutions like NASA can fail or ISRO can fail in their scientific experiments not the current Indian government and the self-declared Pradhan sevak (head of the democratic government).
If at all you mess up with any of these bhakts then you are at risk of getting a certificate of “stupid” liberal or you can be tagged as pseudo-intellectual and would be forced to believe that you are anti national because you challenge facts and figures.
The fringe under this dispensation can lynch human being in the name of cow, they can obnoxiously order people to go to Pakistan , they can call a national icon like Shah Rukh Khan a Pakistani agent ,can ask for stripping of nobel prize of professor Sen a Nobel laureate, can disrespect a legendary like Naseeruddin Shah and use slang in public forums, they can ill-treat and troll a Sonakshi Sinha,Sruti Seth( Indian actresses) as part of the rich culture of sangha,they can declare JNU as hotbed of anti-nationals and you got to be silent about it or else you are a “stupid” and anti-Indian.
Every proud Hindu should acknowledge two mothers one two legged and one four legged. They started 2014 with “Chai pe charcha”( debate over a cup of tea) and have promoted their campaign after 18 months of governance to “Gai pe charcha”( debate on cow) . Ghar wapsi and love jihad are lucrative gifts handed over to the society and the head of the government would tweet about photo ops with business tycoons but not about barbaric acts supported by right wing fringes. These developments in the country is collided with beef ban, ban of the documentary “India’s daughter”, blackening of faces of lawful citizens, forcing writers to stop writing their mind. The prime minister who is the self-declared “Pradhan sevak” has the right to express his “Man ki baat” but the writers , artistes and scholars can’t express their view as that is not nationalism anymore .Hundreds of creative people can’t return their awards non-violently but the bhakts can definitely abuse these people on social media even if they have proved their mantle through their creative work for decades .Most importantly the bhakts can question these creative liberals about the timing of returning award and why they did not do it earlier ,but you can’t ask RSS the question why were they were not part of independence struggle and where was their nationalism then. Why did not RSS fight British and show their nationalism hundred years before and why now? The questions will again get you another certificate of “stupid” and anti-national” tag.
This dispensation was elected with slogans of “minimum government and maximum governance” and so far it has been a brazen demonstration of “Minimum governance maximum ordinance”. With the yogis (Yogi Adityanath), Sadhvis (Sadhvi Niranjan and Sadhvi Prachi) and Babas( Baba Ramdev) allowed to call the shots and rule the roost it will help the repeat of Delhi and Bihar stories in coming days .
The bhakts( blind followers) have definitely created thousands of “stupids” and pseudo intellectuals in last eighteen months as part of “Make in India” and would make almost the entire country “stupid” and anti-national as per their vocabulary by 2019 who can throw them out of power like people did in Delhi and Bihar. That will be the biggest success of “Make in India” I will be one happy jolly fellow among Indian stupids of Mark Twain fame remembering another famous quote of Abraham Lincoln,
“You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time”
