Obama And Kerry; Out Of Their League

By Timothy Gatto

I cannot stay silent any longer. I watch the news on American TV and watch the BBC and I want to throw up. The reason for this is that I also read Op-Ed News and other so called "alternative" media. Most people don't take the time to read the media that isn't government branded and government sanctioned. They hear how the evil Russians are pushing around the poor Ukrainians that only want their "freedom". What a crock of shit.

First of all, all Americans should be aware that the US and the EU engineered the overthrow of the legitimately elected Ukrainian government with over 5 billion dollars in funding. People should also understand that it was the Western Ukrainians that supported the coup, not the Crimean's or the people of Eastern Ukraine. Putin didn't cause the trouble in Ukraine... We did.

Now we are blaming Putin for "taking advantage" of the poor Ukrainians in Kiev for taking the Crimea back from Ukraine. Yes, taking it back. The Russians "gave" the Crimea to Ukraine in the 1950's. Understand that the leader of the USSR was Khrushchev, and he just happened to be Ukrainian. He also gave Ukraine the Eastern provinces that are disgusted with the government in Kiev and want to go back to Russia or be given some form of autonomy to protect themselves from the right wing NATO-EU controlled government in Kiev.

The majority of these people are Russian, and they don't want to join the EU and they don't want to be part of NATO and have missile bases in their country. They don't want to borrow billions from the IMF and the World Bank so that they end up defaulting on these debts and then have western banks come in and hold a fire sale on their natural resources and their national treasures.

This is the US/EU plan. Watching the US news though, you would think that we are all about freedom and democracy. Let me tell you...we're not. We are about gutting this country so that the big banks can come in and fill their coffers with money that they can never pay back so that they can end up controlling the country like they have done in dozens of countries around the World. One only has to look at nations in Latin America that were offered king size loans and ended up tethered to Western banks and governments for decades. It's only now that they are starting to come out of their debt and become independent, Read "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" by John Perkins. He spelled it out and the World still isn't listening.

In fact, the World seems to be oblivious to what is really happening in the Ukraine. This could be the thing that actually brings the United States down. You see, the rest of the World that isn't brainwashed by Western media can see exactly how hypocritical the United States and the EU really are. Don't think for a minute that the people of China or the people of Brazil or Argentina or the people in India believe the crap that comes out of John Kerry's mouth. They also laugh at our wonderful "liberal" Democratic President who sounds more like George W. Bush than Woodrow Wilson.

This is all a big game for the big bankers and the military industrial complex. This is a chance for them to make big profits off the hapless circumstance of a nation in turmoil. Turmoil that we (meaning the US and the EU caused), We saw a nation that was being run poorly and watched as the oligarchs that ran the country were pissing off the people. It's no secret that we poured over5 billion dollars to help topple the government. So just exactly who is responsible for this mess?

This reminds me of the crisis in Georgia. The United States and Israel had tons of advisors in Georgia, selling weapons to their government and training their army. Georgia thought that it had become such a powerhouse with all of the military toys it had received from Israel and America, that it decided to invade to autonomous regions of Ossetia and Abkhazia which considered themselves independent states. Georgia, with the blessing of its new allies, started shelling these provinces and then occupying them and in the course of the operation, they happened to kill many Russian peacekeepers that were there to maintain a separation between the provinces and Georgia.

This did not sit well with Russia, within 4 days, the Russian military and the Russian navy managed to invade and blockade the entire nation of Georgia. Russian tanks ran through the ports and tore up roads just to punish the Georgians. Eventually, the French moderated a peace plan and the Russians pulled out, but left a few units of their military machine in the two contested provinces. The United States just shrugged it's shoulders because there was nothing it could do about it.

This brings us back to the Ukraine. There, the United States actually believes that there is something that they can accomplish there for their banker friends and their military industrial complex friends. Well the truth is, and I hate to hurt their feelings, but there isn't a chance in hell that the US or the EU will succeed in Ukraine. This is all bad joke. A bad joke that has serious consequences for the entire World. It's all about money and power and it will backfire worse than the backfire that happened in Iraq and Libya. There the US left Iraq a failed state and a bombed out shell of a nation, filled with radioactivity from their weapons, causing thousands if not millions of cancers and birth defects, and in the case of Libya, The US and NATO bombed the place back to the stone age. Militant Salafi warlords hold fiefdoms throughout that once prosperous nation. Another great job by the United States we can be "proud" of. Obama went in under the provision to protect or some scam like that and we ended up bombing the country to smithereens and having it's President getting a machete up his ass.

The Ukraine is a different story. Here, Obama isn't dealing with a Saddam Hussein or a Colonel Kaddafi, he's dealing with Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, a man that is unfortunately, is much smarter than the Obama and his advisors. He is also dealing with a nation that lost over twenty million people in World War II and still managed to defeat Nazi Germany. That's Russia. One only has to look at what happened to Napoleon and Hitler to understand what going to war with Russia is all about. The population of Russia was only 168.5 million at the time, but that included the entire USSR. It's a little smaller now, but it still packs a punch. It also has a real alliance with China that has not only military power, but economic power as well. Obama found out today in his visit to push the TPP, you can see how well that turned out.

The people that are running our government and the people that pander to them in the EU are in over their heads. This too will not turn out well for America or Europe. This is not the same World that it was at the end of the last World War. This is a no win situation. Putin is not a small dictator in a third world country. This is the big time. The only way that the robber barons and the military people can possibly win this is with nuclear weapons and if that happens, everybody loses. Putin will not let the Ukrainian government kill Russians living in the Eastern Ukraine, no matter what the circumstances are.

This man is not a saber rattler like Obama and Kerry, rather he walks softly but carries a big stick. Obama and Kerry are out of their league. Maybe it's about time we stopped meddling in other nation's business and started to pay attention to our own business. It's about time the American government stops trying achieve World hegemony and started to be just member of planet Earth. In my estimation, most people in this country know that this whole thing is a money grabbing scam, even with their propaganda media running 24/7. This is a lose-lose situation and it's time to stop the charade and start working on putting Americans back to well paying jobs by making things instead of playing games with robbing other nations of their wealth.

Just a thought.
