Has the human race been “wise” -- as the name Homo Sapiens suggests?
Latin to English conversion: Homo Sapiens = Wise Man?:
THE EVIDENCE, THE TRUTH about HOMO SAPIENS:
Have you ever witnessed an animal being killed by a human being?
Have you ever observed the fear in the eyes of an animal about to be shot by a person?
Have you ever experienced the horror of an animal about to breathe it's last breath at the hands of a Homo Sapien?
*One day I watched a video on You Tube Titled:
Stop Animal Testing: Little Cats by Animals Rights
This video shows baby kittens crying out
Nauseous & dizzy, Blind & deaf, in severe pain
-- From animal testing
& I cried.
*One day I read the article from the Washington Post April 2001
By Joby Warrick Titled: Brutal Harvest
This essay exposes the nightmare that farm animals
Go through to be slaughtered for human food.
Specifically, the article reveals that some cows
Are alive while they are being cut up
A worker states: “The eyes are wide & looking around”…
“They die piece by piece”.
& Tears ran down my face.
*On another day I watched a video on the PETA website
Titled: A Shocking Look Inside Chinese Fur Farms
This video shows Homo Sapiens skinning animals alive
The workers hit the animals on the head with a club
Then the people hang the dogs & foxes upside down by their feet
& skin them alive -- while the animals cry out in horrific pain
Then the humans throw the nude, bleeding animals
In a pile of gasping, convulsing corpses
-- All while people stand around watching & laughing
& I cried an eternal cry.
HOMO SAPIENS: I WITHDRAW MY NAME FROM THE HUMAN RACE
After observing these examples of human cruelty to animals
I hereby withdraw my name from the human race
This Homo Sapien species is far too cruel for me
In the Bible, Genesis 9:2 warns animals:
“The dread of man shall be upon every beast of the earth”.
I will not be a part of such crimes to animals
I will not participate in the torture of animals
Whether it be for food, medicine or fur coats
I will not be a partner in this human madness
I will not participate in the 6th Commandment:
I will not participate in the murder of animals, humans or the Earth.
I will not inflict pain on other creatures
I will not participate in: animal testing,
The slaughtering of animals, fur farms,
child abuse, slavery, genocide or nuclear bombs.
I no longer consider myself to be a human being
I withdraw my name from the human race
I am now & I will forever be
An advocate for the wounded, the broken, the suffering
I will do no harm to animals
I will do no harm to Homo Sapiens -- as imperfect as they are
I will do no harm to the Earth.
I am a new species: Homo Earth
-- A species that respects animals, humans & the Earth.
HUMAN DOMINATION:
Namaste is the Sanskrit word for deep respect
Namaste to the planet Earth, to humans & to the animals
I acknowledge & I honor the sacred animals of this Earth
All the animals of the Earth have a right
To wake up each day & to be free
To see the sunlight, to eat, to rest
& to have a relationship with the Earth
Animals are not the slaves of humans
In the Bible Genesis 1:26
God tells man to “Have dominion…over the Earth”.
But, Why must man dominate others?
Why must man conquer & subdue?
Why must man exploit, enslave, bomb & kill?
Why must the human ego dominate the planet Earth?
Why can’t humans be partners with animals & the Earth?
VIOLENCE & NON-VIOLENCE:
As the endabuse.org TV ad states:
We teach others to hit things
“Why can’t we teach others what Not to hit?”
Likewise:
Why can’t we teach humans: What Not to kill?
What Not to torture? What Not to maim?
What Not to skin alive? What Not to slaughter?
What Not to mutilate? What Not to experiment on?
What Not to encage? What Not to exploit?
What Not to bomb? What Not to enslave?
What Not to hunt? What Not to destroy?
Why can’t we teach humans Not to inflict
Pain, fear & suffering on humans, animals & the Earth?
It is only then that we will be a kind human race
Until them we are just cavemen in business suits with clubs
We pretend to be civilized, We pretend to be good people
With hidden agendas for money, sex & pleasures
We justify all our killing with our selfish desires
We are all responsible for the evil inside our souls
We are RESPONSIBLE for our ignorance
As Pogo says: “We have seen the enemy & he is us”.
WALK AWAY?
I could walk away from all this horror of man abusing animals
I could walk away & deny that any of this is happening
After all most of these crimes occur in secret, hidden places
It would be easy to turn a blind eye & ignore the cruelty:
I could just keep listening to the music
talking to my friend on my cell phone
eating my hamburger & fries & watching TV.
Yes, I could walk away with my big ego
& continue my busy lifestyle in the fast lane
With my meat, my drugs & my fur coats
But, no I AM that medical research kitten being drugged
I AM that cow being slaughtered & cut up piece by piece alive
I AM that dog being skinned alive for a fur coat
I AM those creatures, I feel their horrific pain
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS CRUELTY TO ANIMALS?
We are all responsible for this Holocaust, the slavery, the genocide
That Homo Sapiens inflict upon the animals of this Earth
We give all sorts of excuses for this animal abuse:
We deny, we ignore, we are too busy & we just don’t care
About the pain, fear & suffering of the animals of the Earth
We say we are just innocent bystanders
But these acts of cruelty are going on everywhere, by everyone
These acts of cruelty are going on in our own homes,
In private companies, & by governments
These acts of cruelty are committed by the average citizen,
By government officials, by companies & by doctors
These acts of cruelty are going on in America, China, Europe,
Canada, Russia, Korea, India, Thailand, Japan, etc.
These acts of cruelty are going on with all species
Including cats & dogs, cows & pigs, chickens, horses,
Chimpanzees, dolphins, wolves, rats, etc.
These acts of cruelty are going on at all times
Weekdays, weekends & holidays
In reality moments such as
When we go to sleep at night & on our deathbeds
The truth about Homo Sapien’s cruelty to animals
Will reveal itself
The crimes, the tragedies, the injustices will become evident
That moment of truth will be a sad, lonely moment
Humans have left a path of misery & destruction behind them
IS THERE HOPE FOR THE HUMAN RACE?:
Yes, there is hope for the human race.
Just as violence & cruelty are culturally learned behaviors
We can teach humans to respect animals, humans & the Earth.
It is important that we paradigm shift
From a domination, exploitation method of thinking
To rational & respectful thinking.
