All Come To Wall Street!

By Frank Rummel

21 September, 2011
Countercurrents.org

Police disruption of food and water supply lines, arrests, and the
destruction of tents and tarps sheltering peaceful protesters from the
elements may bring hardship to the orderly occupation now taking place
in Wall Street, but it also loudly heralds the opening skirmishes of
the Second American Revolution.

Peace loving ordinary United States citizens are braving the harsh
reign of Wall Street in this historic occupation of the world's seat
of corporate greed.

We need people of celebrity join us. It is your fight too!

Corporations have seized our government.

While the United States system of government was specifically created
to be the servant of the American people, corporations have taken
control, turned it upside down and made us the servants of the
government.

We fight their meaningless wars. We are taxed, but they are not;
corporations tax-shelter trillions of dollars offshore. Corporations
send our very means of livlihood across the sea in the name of
corporate profits.

Why take this abuse?

Remember the U.S. constitution? It's very meaning was that government
serve the citizens; building roads, collecting tariffs to provide
vital public services, providing armies to fend off invasion - not to
subjugate US fto THEIR greedy ends.

Nevertheless, corporations and special interest groups have bought the
government, and elevated themselves to the level of being our fascist
dictators; sending citizens to conquer countries in the name of
corporate greed while career politicians and other government elites
are accorded the status of Dukes and Earls, enacting laws guaranteeing
their personal aggrandizement with high salaries and luxurious
benefits fit for a king; leaving us to die for lack of healthcare as a
reward for our toil in their service.

Corporations may be a necessary vehicle for commerce and other human
endeavors, however, bestowing the status of a living person on a
faceless legal entity like a corporation is not only absurd, it is
insulting to the dignity of what it means to be a free human being
upon the face of the Earth.

What I hear at Freedom Square:

The Occupation of Wall Street needs for celebrities to join them in
the fight for freedom right now. This will help to break the media
blackout of these efforts.

If you are a celebrity and you love your country, now is the time!

Your country desperately needs all to join the ranks of OUR freedom
fighters. Take to the ramparts! Stop the corporate state's destruction
of OUR democracy!!

Everyone come to Wall Street!!!
