Fundamentalist America Has Trashed Secular Governance, Modernity,
Democracy, Women's Rights And Children's Rights In The Muslim World

Successive American governments claim to be leading a global fight of Western civilization against Muslim extremists but the Awful Truth is that American governments lie and that a pro-One Percenter, religious fundamentalist-dominated, Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-perverted America has an appalling record of supporting and exciting religious fundamentalist rebels (jihadis) against modern, secular regimes in Muslim countries with the collateral trashing of democracy, women's rights, and children's rights.
For sure America was founded on the basis of the noblest of Enlightenment ideals as most memorably stated in the American Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness” [1].
However over the circa 239 years since the Declaration of Independence America has grossly violated these ideals. Thus “all men are created equal” did not extend to African Americans, Indigenous American Indians and women. Back in 1776 the Fathers of the American Revolution were slave owners and a major reason for the Revolution was to remove the British prohibition of Western expansion and further genocide of the Indigenous Indians (British allies in the 18th century British war against France). By the 1840s, nearly all American Indians had been removed from east of the Mississippi and the American Indian Genocide was in full swing west of the Mississippi [2]. American women did not have the vote until the 19th Amendment passed in 1920. African Americans struggled for 2 centuries before Black Americans secured the right to vote in the Seep South in circa 1970. However in the 21st century millions of African Americans are denied the vote and nearly 80% of adult African Americans are presently denied the vote in Chicago under disenfranchising felony laws. Desegregation that was a key goal of the American civil rights movement has now returned to America with wealth- and hence race-based Segregation and Educational Apartheid [3-6].
“Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” are grossly violated in 21st century America. Thus 27% of African –Americans live in poverty [3] and 1.5 million Americans die preventably each year with this tragedy inescapably linked to the fiscal perversion of successive pro-One Percenter US Administrations committing to a long-term accrual cost of $6 trillion for the Zionist-backed US War on Terror and killing 10 million Muslims abroad since the US Government's false-flag 9-11 atrocity [7] instead of saving American lives at home. Indeed Zionist-subverted American Government support for Apartheid Israel in circa 2008 dollars was estimated in 2013 to total about $40 trillion, the breakdown being (1) $3 trillion (1948-2003), (2) $4-6 trillion (Zionist-promoted Iraq and Afghan Wars), (3) $0.7 trillion (Value of a Statistical Life- or VSL-based cost of 88,000 US veteran suicides since September 2001) and (4) about $30 trillion (one quarter of the VSL-based cost of 15.6 million preventable American deaths since September 2001). This is an under-estimate because it does not consider the millions of preventable American deaths before 9-11 linked to Zionist subversion and perversion of America [8].
Of course “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” are grossly violated in the 21st century global American Empire and in a world dominated by ruthless American militarism. Thus American Governments actively subvert all countries on Earth [9-11], the US operates and/or controls between 700 and 800 military bases worldwide [12], and America has invaded 70 countries, some repeatedly, as compared to Britain 193, Apartheid Australia 85, France 80 and Apartheid Israel 12 [13]. 17 million people die avoidably from deprivation each year on Spaceship Earth with the US in charge of the flight deck [3] and 1.5 billion people have died thus since 1950, 1.4 billion in the Third World and 0.6 billion in the Muslim World [2] in a Muslim Holocaust 100 times bigger than the WW2 Jewish Holocaust (5-6 million Jews killed through violence or violently-imposed deprivation) or the WW2 Bengali Holocaust (6-7 million Indians starved to death by the British with Australian complicity) [14-17]. 1950-2005 avoidable deaths in countries occupied by the US in the post-1945 era total 82 million as compared to 727 million (UK-occupied), 142 million (French-occupied) and 24 million (Apartheid Israeli-occupied) [2].
WW2-related US war crimes (the fire-bombing of German and Japanese cities, the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the deliberate starving to death of millions of military and non-military Germans after 1945) [14] were exceeded by US war crimes in post-1950 US Asian wars (40 million Asian deaths from violence or violently-imposed deprivation) that latterly included the genocidal invasions of Muslim countries (12 million Muslim deaths from violence or violently-imposed deprivation in the post-1990, Zionist-promoted US War on Muslims that included the Afghan Genocide, the Iraqi Genocide, the US-backed Apartheid Israeli Palestinian Genocide and the Somali Genocide [18-21]). One notes the opinion of outstanding anti-racist Jewish American scholar Professor Noam, Chomsky from 84-Nobel-Laureate MIT who in his book “September 11” (Chapter 4 , “Crimes of state”, pages 46-47) states: “When we estimate the human toll of a crime, we count not only those who were literally murdered on the spot but those who died as a result. That is the course we adopt reflexively, and properly, when we consider the crimes of official enemies – Stalin, Hitler and Mao, to mention the most extreme cases. Here, we do not consider the crime to be mitigated by the fact that it was not intended but was a reflection if institutional and ideological structures: the Chinese famine of 1958-1961, to take an extreme case, is not dismissed on grounds that it was a “mistake” and that Mao did not “intend” to kill tens of millions of people” . Nor is it mitigated by speculations about his personal reasons for the orders that led to the famine” [22].
On the other side of the Zionist-promoted US War on Muslims are insurgents in US Alliance-occupied countries, noting that the American Declaration of Independence states that “whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government”. However that right of the people to rise up against foreign occupiers, foreigner-installed governments or indeed governments they don't like, does not include any right to commit war crime atrocities of the kind committed by ISIS (IS, ISIL, Daesh) such as the mass killing of prisoners of war and the terrorizing and killing of civilians and minorities.
Any terrorism against civilian populations is evil , whether it is non-state terrorism (e.g. Al Qaeda, ISIS and their affiliates) or state terrorism (like US state terrorism UK state terrorism, French state terrorism, Australian state terrorism, Canadian state terrorism, Saudi state terrorism or Israeli state terrorism). The US and its war criminal US Alliance partners (like the UK, France, Canada and Australia) disparage their opponents as militant, extremist, fundamentalist, death cult terrorists who threaten Western civilization but “one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter” and there is a huge asymmetry between the body counts achieved by Muslim-origin non-state terrorism (2,000 Western victims in 40 years, this excluding the circa 4,000 Zionist invaders killed by Indigenous Palestinians since 1920 [21] and the 3,000 killed in the US Government's false-flag 9-11 atrocity that may have involved Apartheid Israel [7]) and the 12 million Muslim deaths from violence or violently-imposed deprivation in the post-1990 War on Muslims by US Alliance state terrorism [18-21].
This extraordinary asymmetry of deadly outcomes is starkly illustrated by only 1 Australian ever being killed in Australia by a Muslim-origin non-state terrorist (in Sydney, December 2014) versus 9 million Iraqi deaths from Australia state terrorism-complicit Anglo violence or violently-imposed deprivation in the last 100 years [19] (Australia commenced its First Iraq War as a UK lackey in 1915 and in 2014 as a US lackey commenced its Seventh Iraq War [23], noting that only 9 Australians died in Australia's First Iraq War [24] and none in all its subsequent Iraq wars ). A somewhat lesser asymmetry of deadly outcomes is evidenced by 47 Anglo dead in the Australia-complicit Battle of Omdurman in 1898 as compared to 10,000 Sudanese killed [25].
This asymmetry of deadly outcomes between “non-state terrorism” and US Alliance state terrorism is profoundly illustrated by 4,000 Zionist invaders killed by non-state Palestinians since 1920 versus 2 million Palestinians killed by Zionist violence (0.1 million) or violently-imposed deprivation (1.9 million) since 1936 [21]; 1,420 Palestinians killed in US-backed Apartheid Israel's 2008-2009 Gaza Massacre in response to zero Israeli deaths from Gaza rockets in the previous year; and 2,200 Palestinians killed in Apartheid Israel's 2014 Gaza Massacre in response to zero Israeli deaths from Gaza rockets in the previous year [26].
The asymmetry of deadly outcomes between “non-state terrorism” and US Alliance state terrorism illustrates how time and time again the US Alliance state terrorists use actions by Muslim insurgents or Muslim-origin non-state terrorists as excuses for hugely disproportionate massacring of Muslims. Muslim-origin non-state terrorists have been of tremendous assistance to US imperialism by providing “excuses” for violent US and US Alliance interventions.
The US has always needed “excuses” for war as exampled by the Spanish-American War (the destruction of the USS Maine in Havana Harbor), US entry into WW1 (the German sinking of the arms-containing Lusitania), US entry into WW2 (the Japanese Pearl Harbor attack about which both the UK and US had foreknowledge) [16], the Indo-China War (the Gulf of Tonkin “incident” involving the alleged approach of North Vietnamese torpedo boats), the invasion of Panama (the drug-pushing CIA's allegations of President Noriega's involvement in drug-pushing), the invasion of Grenada (alleged threats against US students), the invasion of Afghanistan (US allegations of an indirect Afghanistan connection with the 9-11 atrocity that was almost certainly due to the US Government itself with likely Israeli involvement [7]), the invasion of Iraq (false allegations of Iraqi possession of Weapons of Mass Destruction) , the invasion of Libya (allegations of potential “genocide” led to US Alliance bombing and 0.1 million Libyan deaths), the destruction of Syria (after allegations of Syrian poison gas use failed to get UN Security Council permission for intervention, ISIS atrocities were excuses for unilateral US bombing and now troops on the ground), and re-invasion of Iraq in 2014 (ISIS atrocities).
The historical record shows that the US CIA and NATO backed Gladio terrorist attacks in the post-WW2 era to foment anti-communist sentiment; the US CIA ran Ecuadorean terrorists squads for the bombing of Catholic churches so that socialists would be blamed [10]; the US CIA used US-backed rebels as an excuse to kidnap and remove to Africa Haiti's first democratically–elected leader, President Aristide [2]; and the US backed the fundamentalist Muslim groups Al-Qaeda and Taliban in Afghanistan (1978-1989) and Al Qaeda in the Balkans War in the 1990s.
American Governments consistently lie to further their imperialist goals. Thus brilliant American writer Gore Vidal: “Unlike most Americans who lie all the time, I hate lying. And here I am surrounded with these hills [in Hollywood] full of liars — some very talented… Americans are not interested in the truth about anything. They assume everybody is lying because they go out and lie everyday” [27]. Outstanding American writer, academic, editor and commentator Dr Paul Craig Roberts stated: “Americans live in a rigged system in which propaganda determines the public's awareness and consciousness. Americans, or most of them, live in the Matrix. Since the end of WWII, most foreign governments have been in the habit of going along with Washington. Only in the aftermath of Washington's phony wars based on lies and phony economy based on rigged statistics is the rest of the world beginning to realize that Washington is a destabilizing force” [28] and further that “Washington lies about everything” [29].
American governments consistently lie and one of the biggest and most destructive lies has been the alleged threat to civilization from Muslim insurgents and terrorists that it helped to generate in the first place. Successive American governments have lied in the process of overturning democracy in a swathe of countries, as cogently analysed by William Blum in his book “Rogue State”[9]. In particular, as summarized below, a pro-One Percenter, religious fundamentalist-dominated, Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-perverted America has an appalling record of supporting religious fundamentalist rebels (jihadis) against modern, secular regimes in Muslim countries with the collateral trashing of democracy, women's rights, and children's rights, noting that democracy fundamentally involves satisfaction of basic needs (food, water, shelter, health, education and security) and the most fundamental rights are the rights to life, peace, basic needs and opportunity. Deaths from violence or violently-imposed deprivation are given below in parentheses. Also given are the horrendous current annual under-5 infant deaths and annual avoidable deaths from deprivation in these “US liberated” Muslim countries, noting that annual avoidable deaths from deprivation in the rich invader countries, the US, the UK, France, Australia and Apartheid Israel, are essentially zero (0).
Afghanistan. Afghanistan had a secular government in 1978 that allowed education for women that is crucial for improving health, education and opportunity. The US engineered the overthrow of the secular Afghan government in 1978 and after the USSR invaded to back secular rule the US supported Al Qaeda and Taliban jihadis in the subsequent war ( 1978-1989, 2.9 million excess deaths). The Taliban were eventually victorious in the civil war after the USSR left (1989-1999, 1 million deaths, 3 million refugees). Despite zero Afghans being involved in the 9-11 atrocity (according to the lying Bush “official: account of 9-11), the US shattered the peace and reversed Taliban destruction of the Afghan opium industry by invading in 2001 and heading an international alliance against the Taliban and Al Qaeda that it formerly supported (2001-present, 5.5 million Afghan deaths). As determined from UN Population Division data, now each year there are 88,000 under-5 infant deaths and 124,000 avoidable deaths from deprivation in Afghanistan (population 32 million) as compared to 1,000 under-5 infant deaths and zero (0) avoidable deaths in Australia (population 24 million).
Iraq. Under the secular, Ba'athist Saddam Hussein regime there was religious tolerance and Iraqi women had considerable freedom and access to tertiary education and advancement. The US invaded Iraq in 2003 on the utterly false pretext of Iraqi possession of weapons of mass destruction, removing the secular Ba'athist regime that it formerly supported. Women's rights suffered under a US-installed, religion-based Shia regime which also suppressed the Sunni Iraqis (1990-2011, 4.6 million deaths, 6 million refugees). Since 2011 the US continued to oppose Sunni rebels against the US-installed post-war Shia regime and re-invaded Iraq in 2014 with military advisers and heavy bombing. The US now heads a war criminal Alliance, including US lackey Australia, in support of the Shia regime and against the similarly misogynist and fundamentalist ISIS Sunni rebels. Now each year there are 33,000 under-5 infant deaths and 46,000 avoidable deaths from deprivation in Iraq (population 32 million) as compared to 1,000 under-5 infant deaths and zero (0) avoidable deaths in Australia (population 24 million).
Libya. Under the secular Gaddafi regime Libyans enjoyed the highest standard of living in continental Africa and equal rights for women. The France, UK and UK (FUKUS) Alliance violently removed the secular Gaddafi regime in 2011, destroying the country and delivering it over to various armed militia including misogynist jihadi groups (2011-present, 0.2 million deaths, and 1 million refugees). The US-backed Egyptian military dictatorship is now killing Libyan jihadis formerly supported by the US and the FUKUS Alliance. Now each year there are 1,900 under-5 infant deaths and 2,600 avoidable deaths from deprivation in Libya (population 6.3 million) as compared to 1,000 under-5 infant deaths and zero (0) avoidable deaths in Australia (population 24 million).
Syria. Under the secular Assad regime, Syrians enjoyed religious freedom and equal rights for women (for a brilliant account see William Dalrymple's book “From the Holy Mountain” [30]). Since 2011 there has been a concerted attempted removal of the secular Assad regime, with aid to jihadi and other rebels by the US, UK, France, Turkey, Qatar, Apartheid Israel and Saudi Arabian state terrorists variously through financial support, diplomatic support, weapons, military support, military training, military bases, access and transit. In addition to bombing Syria and support for insurgents in Syria, the US recently put Special Forces on the ground in Syria (2011-present, 0.2 million dead, 9 million internal or external refugees). The US supports some Sunni rebels but is trying to destroy others, notably ISIS, with which it has a common policy of trying to destroy the secular Assad regime. Now each year there are 10,000 under-5 infant deaths and 14,000 avoidable deaths from deprivation in Syria (population 22 million) as compared to 1,000 under-5 infant deaths and zero (0) avoidable deaths in Australia (population 24 million).
Pakistan. In tenuously democratic and nuclear weapons-possessing Pakistan the US has backed the military and intelligence (ISI), substantial elements of which for complex reasons have come to substantial accommodation with the Taliban and other jihadis for various ethnic, nationalist, ideological and pragmatic reasons. The US-backed Pakistani military were involved in the 1971 Bengali Holocaust in which 3 million Bengali men and boys were killed in an utterly appalling gendercide and 0.3 million women were raped [2]. There is widespread, multi-party Pakistani opposition to US bombing of northern regions of Pakistan which has solidified anti-US sentiment, especially by those subject to US bombing. US-backed militarism, anti-US jihadism and political corruption have limited Pakistani advance to modernity. Now each year there are 310,000 under-5 infant deaths and 434,000 avoidable deaths from deprivation in Pakistan (population 188 million) as compared to 28,000 under-5 infant deaths and zero (0) avoidable deaths in the US (population 325 million).
Somalia. The US and the US Alliance have been variously bombing, invading and occupying impoverished Somalia since 1992. Opposition to the occupying US Alliance comes from jihadi groups but the US- and US Alliance-backed Somali Government has instituted Islamic sharia law (1992 –present, 2.2 million deaths and 2 million refugees). Presently each year there are 60,000 under-5 infant deaths and 83,000 avoidable deaths from deprivation in Somalia (population 11 million) as compared to 1,000 under-5 infant deaths and zero (0) avoidable deaths in Australia (population 24 million). The most fundamental human right is the right to life.
Yemen. The US has been bombing the Yemen since 2002 [31], noting that the war criminal US drone attacks are targeted by the Australian Pine Gap electronic spying facility in Central Australia [32]. Presently US-backed Saudi Arabia has been bombing Houthi rebels who have taken over much of the Yemen and oppose the formerly US-backed but presently US-opposed Al Qaeda. Presently each year there are 56,000 under-5 infant deaths and 79,000 avoidable deaths from deprivation in the Yemen (population 26 million) as compared to 1,000 under-5 infant deaths and zero (0) avoidable deaths in serial genocidal invader Australia (population 24 million) that has invaded 85 countries (as compared to the UK 193, France 80, the US 70 and Apartheid Israel 12 [33]. One can only reiterate that the most basic human right for men, women and children is the right to life.
Iran. The US has played a malignant role in Iran including the CIA overthrow of democracy in 1953, US support for the brutal dictatorship of the Shah, implacable hostility after the Islamic revolution in 1979, the unsuccessful mini-invasion in 1979, US backing for Iraq in the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq War (1.5 million killed; 1980-1988 excess mortality 2.1 million), the US shooting down of Iranian Air flight 655 ( 1988, all 290 passengers and crew killed), flooding Iran with US-protected Afghan opiates after 2001 (5,000 Iranian anti-drug police and soldiers have been killed in Iran's world-leading opiate drug interception program, nearly 70,000 Iranian opiate drug-related deaths), and deadly sanctions leading to huge avoidable deaths from deprivation [2]. Presently each year under sanctions there are 28,000 under-5 infant deaths and 39,000 avoidable deaths from deprivation in Iran (population 79 million) as compared to 1,000 under-5 infant deaths and zero (0) avoidable deaths in Australia (population 24 million).
Other victims of the Zionist-promoted US War on Terror.
In terms of death, the major victims of the US War on Terror have been the 17 million people (about half of them Muslims) who die avoidably from deprivation each year in the Developing World (minus China) [2] due to the obscene Western fiscal perversion of committing trillions of dollars to kill 10 million Muslims since 9-11 instead of keeping 17 million people per year x 13.5 years = 230 million people alive in the Third World.
The major Elephant in the Room lies in support of the Zionist-promoted US Alliance War on Terror are (1) that the 9-11 atrocity was perpetrated by men in caves in Central Asia (however numerous science, engineering, architecture, aviation , military and intelligence experts conclude that the US Government was responsible for 9-11, with some strongly suggesting Israeli involvement, and application of the Ockham's Razor principle of the simplest hypothesis compels the same conclusion ) [7], and (2) that the War on Terror was urgently required to keep America, the West and indeed the World “safe” from Muslim terrorists (but sensible analysis below reveals that 100,000 US veterans have suicided and 20 million Americans have died preventably since 9-11 linked to pro-war fiscal perversion) [34, 35].
While only about 5,000 US soldiers have died in combat in the War on Terror, expert US epidemiological analysis reveals that over the last dozen years, there have been roughly 20 US veteran suicides every day [34] i.e. 365.25 x 20 = 7,305 per year and about 7,305 per year x 13.5 years = 99,000 or about 100,000 US veteran suicides since the start of the Zionist-promoted US War on Terror in September 2001.
It gets worse. Thus it is estimated that about 1.5 million Americans die preventably each year and this disaster is inescapably linked to the fiscal perversion of the US Government committing to a long-term accrual cost of $6 trillion for the killing of 10 million Muslims in the post-9-11 War on Terror instead of keeping 1.5 million Americans per year x 13.5 years = 20 million Americans alive [35].
Utterly ignored by Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-perverted and subverted Western Mainstream media are the 1.2 million people who have died world-wide since 9-11 due to US alliance restoration of the Taliban-destroyed Afghan opium industry from 6% of world market share in 2001 to 93% in 2007, the breakdown (as of 2015) including 280,000 Americans, 68,000 Iranians, 25,000 British, 14,000 Canadians, 10,000 Germans and 5,000 Australians [20].
And then there is the real “fear” and indeed real “terror” of hundreds of millions of civilians in a swathe of Muslim countries from Mali to Pakistan variously subject to an “endless War on Terror” involving Western bombing, including US drone attacks targeted by US lackey Australia's Pine Gap electronic spying facility [32].
At the bottom of this catalogue of Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI) horrors is the perversion of Western democracies into dumbed down, terror hysterical corporatocracies in which civil liberties have been eroded and anti-Arab anti-Semitism (Islamophobia) is rampant. World hero Edward Snowden is exiled in Russia for revealing extensive US Government spying on its citizens who are also subject to police state provisions of the Patriot Act. In US lackey Australia the politically dominant Lib-Labs (the Coalition Government and the Labor Right Opposition) have passed legislation enforcing government access to all electronic metadata (who connects with whom but not what they say) with authorities then able to secure warrants to access what is communicated and subsequent transmission to the US and thence to Apartheid Israel [32]. Australians are subject to extensive custodial punishment ranging up to life imprisonment for reading, expressing support for or giving financial support to things the government doesn't like or travelling to certain places in the world. Australians can be arrested without charge and held for weeks with dire custodial penalties for not answering questions or for anyone revealing such arrest (5 years in prison). People such as journalists revealing illegal state security operations (e.g. spying on heads of state, spying on governments, war crimes, murder) face 10 years in prison [32].
American fundamentalism and Muslim fundamentalism.
These crimes of a fundamentalist America are backed by the economic fundamentalism of the neoconservative One Percenters (neoliberalism demanding maximum freedom for the advantaged One Percent to exploit natural and human resources worldwide) and by religious fundamentalism, notably of the demographically dominant Christian fundamentalists, the politically dominant and genocidally racist Christian Zionists, and the Jewish Zionists who have come to exert enormous lobbying power since John Kennedy and Robert Kennedy failed to have Zionists registered as agents of a foreign power (one must note here that numerous anti-racist Jews are utterly opposed to the Palestinian Genocide and other human rights abuses of nuclear terrorist, racist Zionist-run, genocidally racist, democracy-by-genocide Apartheid Israel). A Gallup Poll in 2014 revealed that 42% of Americans believe that God created humans in their present forms 10,000 years ago, with a further 31% believing in a God-guided human evolution and a mere 19% expressing the science-based position that humans evolved but that God had no part in the process [36]. Atheist evolutionary biologist Professor Richard Dawkins in his book ‘The God Delusion” cites a survey showing that 93% of surveyed members of the prestigious US National Academy of Sciences do not believe in a personal god whereas 90% of ordinary Americans do [37].
Professor Riaz Hassan's important book “Inside Muslim Minds” (2008) [38, 39] reports surveys conducted in a range of Muslim countries revealing similar fundamentalist attitudes in the Muslim world. Thus his Chapter 2, “Patterns of religious commitment”, commences with the humane and empathic statement that “Religion provides the means to create a morally coherent and meaningful life” and goes on to explore the wide variations in expression of Muslim piety. In relation to doubt-free belief in the existence of Allah, 6 countries scored 85-97% affirmative, while Kazakhstan (Communist for 70 years) scored 31% (Table 2.1). Similarly, 6 countries scored 71-95% for “There is life after death” but post-Communist Kazakhstan scored only 13% (Table 2.3). There was a big range in the performance of salat (daily prayers), zakat (alms giving) and reading of the Holy Qur'an. Disturbingly, 52-61% of respondents in 6 countries (but in Kazakhstan only 14% of respondents) believed that Darwin's Theory of Evolution “could not possibly be true”. Tariq Ali's book “The Clash of Fundamentalisms” explores the struggle for modernity in the post-colonial Muslim world that has now been cruelly crippled by the fundamentalist American and genocidally racist Zionist assault on the Muslim world [40]. Emmanuel Todd in his “After the Empire. The breakdown of the American Order” (2002) [41] explores American “exceptionalism” that has enabled the brutal creation of a global American Empire. American Professor Walter Davis has got to the heart of the matter in his important book “Death's Dream Kingdom. The American Psyche since 9-11” (2006) which is about how sensible humans attempt to understand themselves (through earnest, honest, painful introspection) and others (through empathic internalizing and analyzing of the suffering of others) – as compared to the psychotic, “ideology-driven” simplicity of “compulsory happiness”, “endless demand”, “axiomatic rightness”, “certainty- and guarantee-demanding”, denial, avoidance of empathy and introspection, and violent externalizing of inner fears by both the American Religious Right and contemporary Capitalist America [42, 43].
Conclusions.
A pro-One Percenter, religious fundamentalist-dominated, Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-perverted, and serial war criminal America is still violently imposing endless war by direct military intervention in a swathe of Muslim countries, namely Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Pakistan, Somalia and the Yemen. For all its rhetoric about defending Western civilization from fundamentalist Muslim terrorists, US policy has eliminated secular regimes in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya and threatens removal of the secular Assad regime in Syria. If US Alliance policy wins out and the Assad regime falls then extreme sharia law will obtain in all these countries.
The UN Charter is meant to protect countries from violent invaders like those of the US Alliance and genocidally racist Apartheid Israel. Indeed, as enshrined in the American Declaration of Independence, people have the basic right to determine who governs them and to resist foreign invaders. However in addition to the evil of terrorizing and killing innocent people, Muslim-origin non-state terrorism has been and remains a major asset of American imperialism which has an appalling record of running false-flag terrorism, backing other terrorism, and exciting “blow back” terrorism.
For all their inevitable faults, secular regimes in the Muslim world advanced the cause of modernity and women's and children's rights in particular (for a detailed analysis see “Inside Muslim Minds” by Riaz Hassan [38, 39]). Through sustained, egregious violence and invading 70 nations over about 240 years [13], a callous, thoughtless, greedy and fundamentalist America has utterly betrayed the Enlightenment ideals upon which the United States of America was founded.
Successive US Administrations have variously backed and then opposed Muslim-origin non-state terrorism to hack away at the Muslim world and at secular regimes in particular. However the only consistency in depraved US policy lies in greed, war criminal aggression, genocide and lying that is slavishly backed by mendacious Western Mainstream media.
Peace is the only way but silence kills and silence is complicity. Decent people must (a) inform everyone they can and (b) urge and apply Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against fundamentalist American imperialism and all its supporters.
