International Women's Day: Zionist And US Censorship Hides Bereavement Of
Millions Of Muslim Women

By Dr Gideon Polya

08 March, 2012
Countercurrents.org

8 March is International Women's Day, a day on which we reflect on the great gains in women's rights around the world but also on the progress that needs to be made against sexism, misogyny and other violation of women's rights. A major area of concern remains the reproductive choice of women that is opposed by religious fundamentalists who declaim the Right to Life of the Unborn. However in a process of appalling and deadly hypocrisy these same US Alliance Christian  fundamentalists ignore or dismiss the Right to Life of Born infants, of whom 7 million  currently die avoidably  each year on Spaceship Earth with religious right-dominated   America at the helm.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Professor Margaret Alston (Professor and Head of the Department of Social Work at Monash University . Melbourne, Victoria, Australia)  has written an excellent article in The Conversation (an Australian academic-based web magazine) entitled “Stand up for feminism on International Women's Day, lest our hard-fought rights slip away” (see The Conversation, 8 March 2012: https://theconversation.edu.au/stand-up-for-feminism-on-international-womens-day-lest-our-hard-fought-rights-slip-away-5729 )  . A key part of her essay states: “ The top five feminist issues from my point of view are the right of women to control their own bodies including through ready access to contraception and abortion; unequal distribution of caring tasks; unequal access to resources; unequal distribution of leadership positions and questionable valuing of alternative models of leadership; and unequal power relations between women and men across the world leading often to violence. Women must again be prepared to fight to achieve and maintain citizenship rights, be prepared to publicly defend and protect our hard-fought rights and, importantly, rise as a global collective in support of oppressed women across the world.”

The Conversation permits people to make comments on articles but unfortunately my first comment on the article in relation to the Right to Life of Born infants (and the inherent fundamental right of a mother to see her child survive)  only survived a short time on The Conversation before it was removed.

In the interests of free speech and “standing up for feminism”  I accordingly re-posted my carefully research post with a preamble deploring the censorship. However this second post did not survive and was removed. This is what I posted:

"The worst thing that can happen to women who are mothers apart from death itself is death of a child. The following post I made was censored by The Conversation which evidently thinks otherwise. This censorship will be widely reported, not least to female MPs and writers:

Excellent article by Professor Margaret Alston but missing from her analysis of impositions  on women were the over 8 million under-5 year old infants who die each year, 90%  (i.e. 7 million) .avoidably on Spaceship Earth with a racist, genocidal, endlessly war-making, racist Zionist-beholden  US in charge of the flight deck.

My Asian women friends tell me that they would prefer being raped, to the death of a child. On this International Women's Day (8th March) remember the as many as 12 million Muslim women bereaved in the over 2-decade, racist Zionist-promoted  US Alliance War on Muslims that can also be seen as a cowardly and racist War on Women and Children or more specifically a War on Asian, African, Palestinian, Arab, Muslim and non-European Women and Children.

Thus setting aside the 7 million under-5 year old infants who die avoidably each year globally under Zionist-beholden US hegemony, consider that  under-5 infant deaths in the US War on Muslims total 2.0 million (Iraq, 1990-2012), 2.9 million (Afghanistan, 2001-2012) and 1.3 million (Somalia, 1992-2012), 90% avoidable and due to gross violation of the Geneva Convention by the war criminal US Alliance (see "Muslim Holocaust, Muslim Genocide": http://sites.google.com/site/muslimholocaustmuslimgenocide/  ).

And there are 74 million  Iranians, half of them female, living under the daily threat that US-, UK-, NATO- and Australia-backed, race-based, genocidal, nuclear terrorist  Apartheid Israel will destroy them using conventional or nuclear weapons simply on the basis that, contrary to endless Iranian protestations otherwise and the evidence of inspectors, Iran MIGHT one day develop nuclear weapons (noting that scores of countries  like Australia, Germany, Brazil, Canada etc etc  have the same potential capability) .

Under the Coalition and under pro-war, pro-Zionist, neoconservative and slavishly pro-US PM Julia Gillard (childless, atheist and ex-socialist) Australia has become complicit in the appalling crimes of the Zionist-promoted War on Muslims by a Zionist-beholden US that fiercely defends the Right to Life of the Unborn while passively and actively massacring the innocents at home and abroad.

Thus there have been 12 million war-related Muslim deaths (half of them females) so far in the US War on Muslims achieved at an accrual cost of up to $5.5 trillion.  However this perversion of fiscal resources means that 1 million Americans die preventably each year (half of them females; see "One Million Americans die preventably annually in USA " : http://www.countercurrents.org/polya180212.htm ) . Ditto in Lib-Lab Australia where 66,000 Australians (50% female) die preventably each year because greedy Lib-Labs look the other way (see "Why PM Julia Gillard must go: 66,000 preventable Australian deaths annually": http://www.countercurrents.org/polya210212.htm  ).

On this International Women's Day remember the  Right to Life of BORN  infants (half of them female) in the Zionist-beholden American Empire where Obama passively murders 1,000 children (half of them female) every day (see :"Hey, hey , USA, how many kids did you kill today? Answer: 1,000":  http://bellaciao.org/en/spip.php?article18750  ).”

Because this second attempt at putting a pro-woman, pro-child point of view was censored I posted a final third comment that may or may not be censored out (it has now survived for some hours  but watch this space):

“I am a much published 5-decade career Australian scientist  who has taught university students over 4 decades. My previous 2 attempts to make carefully researched and documented posts on this thread have both been censored out, presumably because The Conversation thinks they contain material that it deems unfit for its readers to read, know about or think about.

The Conversation has never acceded to my willingness to write articles for it, it has repeatedly censored my informed and documented comments on articles; it has published utterly false, defamatory,  ad hominem abuse directed at me by pro-Zionists; and has censored out refutation by me of such false abuse.

The Censorship is evidently infected with the slavishly pro-Zionist, anti-Arab anti-Semitic and anti-Jewish anti-Semitic culture of the [Australian] Murdoch media, the Fairfax media and the taxpayer-funded ABC that involves the  sidelining and censorship of anti-racist, humanitarian  Jewish and non-Jewish opinions  in deference to those of traitorous racist Zionists with an over-riding loyalty to race-based, genocidal, nuclear terrorist Apartheid Israel.

I repeat that for women who are mothers the worst thing that can happen to them short of death is the death of a child (a 92 year old woman I have just taken to a hospital appointment confirms the correctness of this view).

Accordingly,  on International Women's Day decent, anti-racist, pro-woman, pro-mother and pro-child  people will remember the 7 million under-5 year old infants (half female)  who die avoidably each year on Spaceship Earth dominated by a racist Zionist-beholden neo-fascist US; the 800 million under-5 year old infants (half female)  who have died avoidably globally since 1950 in our US-dominated world; the 12 million Muslims (half female) who have died war-related deaths in the Zionist-backed US War on Muslims since 1990; the 2 million Palestinians (half female) who have died war-related deaths since 1936 in the continuing Palestinian Genocide; and the 800,000 Palestinian children (half female; 10% stunted from deprivation according to Jewish British MP David Milliband) indefinitely and abusively incarcerated in what the Catholic Church has described as the Gaza Concentration Camp without charge or trial but for the race-based asserted "crime" of being Indigenous Palestinians living in a tiny patch of the land inhabited continuously by their forebears for thousands of years to the very dawn of agrarian civilization.

This message will be published  widely around Australia and the World and to the members of the Board of The Conversation. Only a dozen members  of my family survived the Zionist-complicit Jewish Holocaust in Hungary in 1944-1945, victims of the deadly terminal expression of anti-Jewish anti-Semitism that is now being applied in the interests of genocidal racist Zionists and in a censorship and defamation sense to decent, anti-racist, humanitarian Jewish  Australians who cannot be silent in the face of  the gross violation and active and passive mass murder of millions of Muslim children and the immense abuse of women that this entails.”

Conclusions.

A fundamental right of women is reproductive choice. However that also includes the right of a mother to see her BORN infants survive, a right that is denied 7 million women each year whose under-5 year old infants  perish avoidably due to warped First World priorities on a Spaceship Earth with religious fundamentalist-dominated America in charge of the flight deck. This horrendous reality is ignored by the  Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-dominated Western democracies that have become Murdochracies (Big Money, such as that of the Murdoch media empire, buys truth, public perception and votes) and Lobbyocracies (Big Money buys politicians, parties, policies, public perception and votes). Those standing  up for  these millions of poor women are sidelined, censored and drowned out by an ocean of politically correct racist (PC racist) neo-fascist propaganda (see “Boycott Murdoch Media”: https://sites.google.com/site/boycottmurdochmedia/  ; “Censorship by The Age”: http://sites.google.com/site/mainstreammediacensorship/censorship-by-the-age  and http://agecensors.blogspot.com/ ; “Mainstream Media Lying”: http://sites.google.com/site/mainstreammedialying/ ; and “ABC Censorship”: http://sites.google.com/site/abccensorship/  . Please tell everyone you can.

Dr Gideon Polya has been teaching science students at a major Australian university for 4 decades. He published some 130 works in a 5 decade scientific career, most recently a huge pharmacological reference text "Biochemical Targets of Plant Bioactive Compounds" (CRC Press/Taylor & Francis, New York & London , 2003). He has published “Body Count. Global avoidable mortality since 1950” (G.M. Polya, Melbourne, 2007: http://globalbodycount.blogspot.com/ ); see also his contributions “Australian complicity in Iraq mass mortality” in “Lies, Deep Fries & Statistics” (edited by Robyn Williams, ABC Books, Sydney, 2007): http://www.abc.net.au/rn/science/ockham/stories/s1445960.htm ) and “Ongoing Palestinian Genocide” in “The Plight of the Palestinians (edited by William Cook, Palgrave Macmillan, London, 2010: http://mwcnews.net/focus/analysis/4047-the-plight-of-the-palestinians.html ). He has published a revised and updated 2008 version of his 1998 book “Jane Austen and the Black Hole of British History” (see: http://janeaustenand.blogspot.com/ ) as biofuel-, globalization- and climate-driven global food price increases threaten a greater famine catastrophe than the man-made famine in British-ruled India that killed 6-7 million Indians in the “forgotten” World War 2 Bengal Famine (see recent BBC broadcast involving Dr Polya, Economics Nobel Laureate Professor Amartya Sen and others: http://www.open2.net/thingsweforgot/ bengalfamine_programme.html ).
