WW1 Start Centenary, Ongoing Palestinian Genocide, Latest Israeli Gaza Massacre & Western Lying

4 August 2014 marks the 100th anniversary of the British declaration of war on Germany in 1914, an event that rapidly and inexorably led to the still ongoing Palestinian Genocide involving 2 million Palestinian deaths from violence (0.1 million), or from violently-imposed deprivation (1.9 million), 7 million refugees and the ethnic cleansing of 90% of the former Mandated Palestine. As of 4 August 2014, after 28 days of Apartheid Israel's latest Gaza Massacre, of the 1.8 million Occupied Palestinians in Apartheid Israel's Gaza Concentration Camp (50% children and 75% women and children) , 1,800 have been killed (equivalent to the deaths from 6 MH17 atrocities), 10,000 wounded, 450,000 have been driven from their homes, and 1.8 million are variously traumatized by the Israeli shelling, rocketing, mortaring and bombing of one of the world's most densely populated conurbations – and all of this in response to zero (0) Israeli deaths from Gaza rockets in the year before this latest Israeli Gaza Massacre, and 28 such deaths in the last 14 years or 2 per year as compared to 130 Israeli deaths each year at the hands of fellow Israelis.
World War 1 (WW1) took the lives of 20 million people, mostly combatants, and was the beginning of a 100-year ongoing genocide applied to the Palestinian people and indeed to other people in the Middle East . The British rapidly used WW1 as an excuse to dismember the Ottoman Turkish Empire with Middle East oil and hegemony being the major prizes. Iraq was invaded and conquered in 1914. Turkey proper was unsuccessfully invaded by British, French, Australian, New Zealand and British and French colonial forces in 1915 at Gallipoli, this sparking the Armenian Genocide in which 1.5 million Armenians were killed by the threatened Turks. In 1916 the war criminal British and French imperialists divided up the Middle East between themselves through the Sykes-Picot Agreement, In 1917 Palestine was conquered by the British with the help of Australian and New Zealand forces, and Lord Balfour issued his infamous Balfour Declaration offering the country of the Indigenous Palestinians as a Jewish Homeland. In 1918 Australian soldiers butchered 100 Palestinians in the Surafend Massacre and the egregiously violent side of the Palestinian Genocide had begun. Massive racist Zionist invasion and colonization of Palestine began under the genocidally racist British.
According to expert demographers, the Palestinian "Arab population in 1914 was 683,000. By the outbreak of World War I (1914), the population of Jews in Palestine had risen to about 60,000, about 33,000 of whom were recent settlers" [1]. In 2014 the population of the former Mandatory Palestine includes 5.9 million Jewish Israelis, 1.7 million Palestinian Israelis, 0.3 million non-Palestinian and non-Jewish Israelis, and 4.3 million Occupied Palestinians, the Occupied Palestinians being excluded from all human rights, including voting, by the Jewish Israeli minority. Democracy-by-genocide Apartheid Israel excludes 6 million Palestinians from even stepping foot anywhere in their own country [2] .
The ongoing Palestinian Genocide by Nazi-style Apartheid Israel (Nazi Israel) has been associated, so far, with 2 million Palestinian deaths from violence (0.1 million), or from violently-imposed deprivation (1.9 million). In contrast, Zionist or Israeli deaths from “the enemy” since 1920 total about 3,800. As of 4 August 2014 about 9,000 Palestinians have been violently killed by Apartheid Israel since the start of the Intifada in 2000 (as compared to about 1,300 Israelis killed by Palestinians in this period) but Occupied Palestinian avoidable deaths from imposed derivation in this period total about 60,000 (while avoidable Israeli deaths on this standard total zero) [3, 4].
Of 12 million Palestinians today (about 50% children and 75% women and children), 6 million are forbidden to even step foot in their own country; 4.3 million are highly abusively confined without human rights in the Gaza Concentration Camp (1.8 million) or in West Bank mini-Bantustan Occupied Palestinian Ghettoes (2.5 million); and 1.7 million are Palestinian Israelis, the “lucky” 14% of Palestinians permitted to vote for the government ruling all of former Mandatory Palestine (plus ethnically cleansed parts of Lebanon and Syria) , albeit as Third Class citizens under Nazi-style Apartheid race laws. 90% of the land of the former Mandatory Palestine has been ethnically cleansed of Indigenous Palestinians. In addition to violently killing about 650 Occupied Palestinian subjects each year, Apartheid Israel passively murders 4,200 Occupied Palestinian each year through imposed egregious deprivation, noting that the annual per capita income is a First World $31,537 for Apartheid Israel and a Third World $2,431 for the Occupied Palestinian Territories under the heel of genocidally racist Apartheid Israel.
This horrendous, ongoing atrocity and the egregiously genocidal Israeli racism reflected in this macabre disproportionality demand World action involving comprehensive Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) not just against nuclear terrorist, genocidally racist, democracy-by-genocide, serial war criminal, racist-Zionist-run, neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel and its racist Zionist (RZ) supporters worldwide but against all people, politicians, parties, companies, corporations and countries complicit in the ongoing Palestinian Genocide. Indeed BDS is not enough – the racist Zionists and their supporters must be sidelined from public life throughout the world, as have been like racists such as the Nazis, neo-Nazis, Apartheiders and the Ku Klux Klan (KKK).
The latest Israeli Gaza Massacre in the Gaza Concentration Camp is so appalling that it has elicited protest even from some of the more squeamish ,members the Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-perverted and subverted Western political Establishments. However we should not be fooled by such transient and isolated humanitarian sentiments. The pathologically mendacious, murderous and racist US, UK, Canadian and Australian political Establishments are still firmly behind the genocidal Zionist project even when they talk of the “peace process” (ignoring the reality that aside from the circa 650 Occupied Palestinians who are violently killed each year by Apartheid Israel, 4,200 Occupied Palestinians die avoidably each year from Israeli-imposed deprivation), the “2 state solution” (that is no longer feasible because 90% of Palestine has now been ethnically cleansed of Indigenous Palestinians by the genocidal Israelis) and “Israel's right to self-defence” (which is belied by the awful statistics and utterly abused by the repeated Israeli Gaza Massacres applied to its impoverished and malnourished subjects in the Gaza Concentration Camp).
Thus the US Senate and the House of Representatives have overwhelmingly supported legislation for $225 million to re-stock the Apartheid Israeli missile defence system and war criminal Obama says that this is to “ 'make sure that Israel is able to protect its citizens” [5].
Racist war criminal Obama falsely accused the Gazans of kidapping an Israeli soldier (he had actually died), stating (dancing to the tune of the genocidal and traitorous US Zionist Lobby): “I have unequivocally condemned Hamas and the Palestinian factions that were responsible for killing two Israeli soldiers and kidnapped a third. If they are serious about trying to resolve this situation, that soldier needs to be unconditionally released as soon as possible” (however there is no condemnation of the killing of 2 million Palestinians through the violence or imposed deprivation, the 47-year kidnapping of millions of Occupied Palestinians, now numbering 4.3 million with half of them children, and the Palestinian deaths in this latest Gaza Massacre now totalling 1,800) [6].
PM Tony Abbott, leader of the pro-war, pro-Zionist, grossly human right –abusing, US lackey Australian Coalition Government, has stated : “We support Israel's right to exist, we support Israel's right to self-defence, we support the Palestinians' right to a state of their own, but that's got to go hand-in-hand with the recognition of Israel's right to exist behind secure borders… [ immediate ceasefire] because plainly too many people are dying” [7]. Similarly, right-wing, pro-Zionist Australian Labor Opposition Leader Bill Shorten in a joint statement with the (much more civilized) Deputy Opposition Leader Tanya Plibersek stated: “Hamas must stop firing rockets into Israel - more than 2600 so far, and Israel must restrain its response, which has cost far too many civilian lives. Labor is appalled by the recent shelling of a UN school in a Gaza refugee camp, and attacks on similar facilities. Labor deplores the abuse of civilian facilities for military purposes, including a Gaza school that was used to hide rockets” [7]. However these craven, US lackey Australian statements, clearly designed to be acceptable to the traitorous and genocidally racist Zionist Lobby, ignore the reality of 1,800 Palestinians killed (80% civilians) versus zero Israelis deaths from Gaza rockets in the previous year.
In marked contrast to these craven and grossly biased Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-perverted and subverted Western politicians is John Prescott (Baron Prescott, Lord Prescott, a leading British Labour politician who was the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1997 to 2007 under war criminal PM Tony Blair ) who had the moral courage not exhibited by his craven Australian Labor counterparts, and raised the ire of the traitorous and genocidally racist British Zionist Lobby, in stating: “ Those who live in Gaza are kept like prisoners behind walls and fences, unable to escape the bombings, and an Israeli economic blockade has forced Palestinians into poverty. Israel 's Iron Dome defence system easily intercepts missiles launched from Gaza . Three Israeli citizens have died from these primitive rockets, with 32 soldiers killed fighting Hamas. Compare that to the toll in Gaza . Of the 1,000-plus to die, more than 80 per cent were civilians, mostly women and children. But who is to say some of the other 20 per cent weren't innocent too? Israel brands them terrorists but it is acting as judge, jury and executioner in the concentration camp that is Gaza . And Israel flouts international law by continuing to build illegal Jewish settlements. Why? Because it knows it can get away with it. What happened to the Jewish people at the hands of the Nazis is appalling. But you would think those atrocities would give Israelis a unique sense of perspective and empathy with the victims of a ghetto … We must force Israel to end the blockade on Gaza to ensure free and unfettered access for humanitarian aid and reconstruction materials. There must be a freeze on illegal settlement growth to let talks start. We should support a phased approach to end the occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem within a reasonable timeframe. The EU should play a bigger role in supporting mediation and push for sanctions for non-compliance” [8].
Indeed in Australia there are circa 1,000 members of State and Federal parliaments but only 54 or about 5% of all present Australian MPs have signed an open latter condemning the Israeli Occupation and Israeli war crimes in Gaza [9].
Similarly, numerous eminent humanitarians from around the world, including Nobel Laureates and leading anti-racist Jewish and non-Jewish figures, have written an Open Letter protesting the horrendous violence by the State of Israel against its captive Palestinian population and concluding: “We call on the UN and governments across the world to take immediate steps to implement a comprehensive and legally binding military embargo on Israel, similar to that imposed on South Africa during apartheid” [10].
The extraordinary and intolerable features of the Western response to this latest and most horrific Israeli Gaza Massacre are (1) the relative absence of such eminent critics prepared to tell the Awful Truth, and (2) the overwhelming preparedness of the Mainstream Media presstitutes to lie by commission and omission and to go along with the dozens of egregious Zionist lies put out by the State of Israel (anagram e-LIARS) and its supporters that range from the asserted lethality of Gaza rockets (in actuality: 28 Israeli deaths in 14 years) to “Israeli is a democracy” ) (in reality: Apartheid Israel it is a democracy by genocide and apartheid) [11].
It has always been that the victors write history (and indeed Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses II re-wrote his defeat-to-fight-another-day at the Battle of Kadesh in 1296 BC as a tremendous victory) but the racist Zionists, their supporters and their Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-perverted and subverted Mainstream media whores and presstitutes and politician puppets have carried this untruth to an extraordinary level. Thus imperialist warmonger, mass murderer , racist and pro-Zionist, Winston Churchill (our hero for opposing German Nazism), launched the disastrous WW1 attack on Turkey that precipitated the Armenian Genocide and shortly thereafter commenced the Palestinian Genocide. Pro-Zionist Churchill got the WW2 British War Cabinet to approve the partition of Palestine in 1944 when Jewish invaders still represented no more than 1/3 of the population. However he was also responsible for the Bengali Holocaust in which, with Australian complicity, he deliberately starved 6-7 million Indians to death in 1942-1945 for strategic reasons. This atrocity, the first WW2 atrocity to have been described as a “holocaust”, has been largely rubbed out of British and World history, and indeed the racist Zionists have appropriated the term holocaust as “The Holocaust” to mean the WW2 Jewish Holocaust (5-6 million dead, 1 in 6 dying from deprivation) to the exclusion of the general WW2 European Holocaust (30 million Slav, Jewish and Gypsy dead), the WW2 Chinese Holocaust (40 million killed under Japanese occupation) and the WW2 Bengali Holocaust (6-7 million Indians, mostly Muslims, starved to death by the White Australians and the British) [12].
Outstanding expatriate Australian journalist John Pilger has cogently slammed the prevalent Orwellian Mainstream lying by omission that is implicit in Mainstream Western responses to the latest Israeli Gaza Massacre: “ It was as if Edward Snowden had revealed nothing, Big Brother was not now a digital eavesdropper and Orwell himself had never said, “To be corrupted by totalitarianism, one does not have to live in a totalitarian country”… As advanced societies are de-politicised, the changes are both subtle and spectacular. In everyday discourse, political language is turned on its head, as Orwell prophesised in 1984. “Democracy” is now a rhetorical device. Peace is “perpetual war”. “Global” is imperial. The once hopeful concept of “reform” now means regression, even destruction. “Austerity” is the imposition of extreme capitalism on the poor and the gift of socialism for the rich: an ingenious system under which the majority service the debts of the few. In the arts, hostility to political truth-telling is an article of bourgeois faith… A few years ago, Terry Eagleton, then professor of English literature at Manchester University , reckoned that “for the first time in two centuries, there is no eminent British poet, playwright or novelist prepared to question the foundations of the western way of life”. No Shelley speaks for the poor, no Blake for utopian dreams, no Byron damns the corruption of the ruling class, no Thomas Carlyle and John Ruskin reveal the moral disaster of capitalism. William Morris, Oscar Wilde, HG Wells, George Bernard Shaw have no equivalents today. Harold Pinter was the last to raise his voice” [13].
In his Nobel Prize Acceptance Speech in 2005, anti-racist Jewish British playwright Harold Pinter declared in relation to the Iraqi Genocide: “How many people do you have to kill before you qualify to be described as a mass murderer and a war criminal? One hundred thousand? More than enough, I would have thought. Therefore it is just that Bush and Blair be arraigned before the International Criminal Court of Justice” [14].
In reality the total deaths from violence (1.5 million) and war-imposed deprivation(1.2 million) in Occupied Iraq (2003-2011) totalled 2.7 million [15]. In relation to the 100,000 Palestinians killed violently and the1.9 million dying from imposed deprivation in the Palestinian Genocide, one may well paraphrase Harold Pinter and state: “How many people do you have to kill before you qualify to be described as a mass murderer and a war criminal? One hundred thousand? Two million? More than enough, I would have thought. Therefore it is just that the racist Zionists and their war criminal Western supporters be arraigned before the International Criminal Court”
The horrendous magnitude of this latest Israeli Gaza Massacre must galvanize the world. There should be zero tolerance for the weasel words and genocidal actions of the Israeli war criminals and their pro-Zionist Mainstream politicians and presstitutes who are accessories after the fact of the Palestinian Genocide.
Conclusions.
For anti-racist Jews and indeed all anti-racist humanitarians the core moral messages from the Jewish Holocaust (5-6 million dead, 1 in 6 dying from deprivation) and from the more general WW2 European Holocaust (30 million Slav, Jewish and Gypsy dead) are “zero tolerance for racism”, “never again to anyone”, “bear witness” and “zero tolerance for lying”. All decent people must observe “zero tolerance for racism”, “never again to anyone”, “bear witness” and “zero tolerance for lying” in relation to the Israeli Gaza Massacre in the Gaza Concentration Camp and the other horrendous realities of Israeli Apartheid, the illegal Occupation and the ongoing Palestinian Genocide.
Decent people around the world must (1) inform everyone they can about the horrendous lies, human rights abuses and war crimes of Apartheid Israel (Nazi Israel) in its ongoing Palestinian Genocide; (2) demand immediate cessation of murderous Israeli human rights abuse, Exile and Occupation of Palestinians; (3) demand equal rights and one-man-one-vote for all the present subjects of Apartheid Israel in the former Mandatory Palestine, ideally in a unitary Palestine state with peace, security, justice, and reconciliation; (4) demand justice through the International Criminal Court or through an International Tribunal of the most eminent humanitarians; and (5) urge and apply comprehensive Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against not just US-, UK-, EU-, Canada- and Australia-backed Apartheid Israel but also, where practicable, against all people, politicians, parties, collectives, companies, corporations and countries complicit in Apartheid Israeli and Zionist-backed US state terrorism in Palestine, the Middle East and indeed throughout the world.
