An English Indian national
daily carried the following report on June 2, 2003: "The Liberhan
Commission proceedings earlier this week took an interesting turn when
Justice Liberhan tried to put the Central council, Lala Ram Gupta, on
the mat for trying to wriggle out of some awkward questions. I
will keep on asking you awkward questions to get at the truth,
the judge said. Not to be undone, the council quipped: "And I will
keep answering your questions in my own awkward way."
Shortly afterwards, the duo
again sparred over the origin of the Bajrang Dal. "Whose baby is
the Bajrang Dal?" The judge asked the counsel pointedly. Determined
not to be pinned down, the counsel replied: How should I know
whose is it? How am I supposed to know whose baby it is? he asked
with an air of injured innocence. Any way, the Central Government
has nothing to do with whose baby it is.
Justice Liberhan made one
last try. Who is Vinay Katiyar then? Did not he float the Bajrang
Dal? Pat came the reply: Who is Vinay Katiyar? After
that, Justice Liberhan just gave up."
If the Liberhan Commission
has not yet turned into a farce, one will expect that this important
Commission which was established to unearth the real culprits and conspirators
behind the demolition of Babri Mosque on December 6, 1992 will gear
up itself to do better home work. There is no doubt that the Central
Government and its counsel are working overtime to mislead and confuse
the Liberhan Commission. They have learnt their tricks in the shakhas
of RSS which specializes in bluff game. Naturally it is their vested
interest to hide facts for shielding the criminals who caused irreparable
damage to Indian secular state.
However, Justice Liberhan
can still find the parentage and lineage of communal organisations like
Bajrang Dal, VHP, Hindu Jagran Manch, and Hindu Munnani if it is able
to have access to a publication of RSS- Param Vaibhav Ke Path Par.
This book is also a must
for law enforcing agencies who are looking for linkages between murderers
(of Graham Staines and his two sons in Orissa, and innocent Muslims
in Gujarat) and the RSS. The authentic information contained in this
book should pave the way for bringing to justice the real culprits who
run this nexus for RSS.
It directly contradicts the
RSS public posture that it is a non-political organization and BJP,
VHP, Bajrang Dal, Dharam Sansad etc are independent organisations and
dont work under the dictates of the RSS. It is pertinent that
one compares this with the facts available in this official publication
of the RSS. It is necessary to know the whole nexus. The central publication
house of the RSS, Suruchi Prakashan, New Delhi, in 1997 published Param
Vaibhav Ke Path Par (On the road to Great Glory) penned by Sadanand
Damodar Sapre, a senior RSS functionary. This book contains details
of more than 40 organizations created by the RSS for different tasks.
The preface of the book itself declares that "without the knowledge
of the different kinds of activities of the Swayamsevaks (the volunteers
of the RSS) the introduction of the RSS is incomplete. Keeping this
in mind it has been attempted in this book to produce the brief information
about the diverse activities of the Swayamsevaks. This book covers the
organizational status till 1996.We believe that this book will prove
to be of use for those who want to understand the RSS along with the
Swayamsevaks". (page 7)
This book goes on to tell
that how and why Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, Durga Vahini, Dharam
Sansad or Religious Parliament (anti-minority) were created by RSS.
(page 20-24) The RSS insists that Dharam Sansad is the highest supreme
body of Hindus. This book tells us that, "VHP established Dharam
Sansad in 1984". It means that Dharam Sansad or the Religious Parliament
is simply a puppet of the RSS.
This publication of the RSS
shows how the organization is run in a clandestine manner. It runs like
a well-organized mafia through its subsidiaries. There has always been
much confusion about its different fronts that provide RSS with the
opportunity to dissociate with any of these as per its convenience.
For instance it used Hindu Jagran Manch (HJM) for attacking Christians
in late 90s and when public opinion, media and Parliament seemed
to turn against it, RSS denied any relation with HJM. Recently, when
nefarious designs of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal and Dharam Sansad
were exposed before the Nation, RSS announced that these were independent
organizations. Interestingly, it often becomes a mediator between BJP
Government and the above nefarious fronts.
It will be interesting to
know that many of these organisations have been organized on a true
fascist and clandestine manner. For instance while giving the details
of Hindu Jagran Manch (HJM), the book says, "From the point of
view of Hindu awakening this kind of forums (HJM) at present are active
in 17 states with different names like Hindu Manch in Delhi,
Hindu Munnani in Tamil Nadu, Hinduekjut in Maharashtra.
These are forums, not associations or organisations, thats why
it is not required to have membership, registration and elections".
(page 64) It is clear that these work as mafia to avoid scrutiny by
law and government. Such an organizational mode provides an opportunity
to RSS to disown any individual or organization.
RSS can indulge in conspiracies
too. The book discloses that in Delhi immediately after partition: "Swayamsevaks
had posed to have adopted Musalman religion in order to gain the confidence
of Delhi Muslim League for knowing their conspiracies" (page 86)
This publication of RSS lists
details of about forty fronts and more than 10 publication houses serving
the goals of RSS.
