The Obama regime is considering using the economic power the US gained after WW2, partially by amoral design (search word 'bleed' on  this  page), partially due to all US competitors being destroyed, to target Venezuela.  Using history as a guide, the USA will make this another of its innumerable terrorist attacks, targeting Venezuelan civilians, as the USA targets or targeted civilians, to murder them, with genocidal sanctions in  Iraq ,  Iran ,  Cuba , and elsewhere.

Venezuela is a sovereign country that is, morally and legally, incomparably superior to the USA.  Its misfortune is that it is much smaller than the hemisphere's notorious wife-beater, the USA, thus it is subject to the always deadly criminal batterings of the extremely violent, extremely war-like group occupying the North American continent.

In its usual, boorish form, lacking all credibility but, like a "slow" child, seeming to think that its lies are believed, the USA  purports  to "sanction" Venezuela for "violent repression of protests".  

The Obama regime is, just at this current moment, sponsoring terrorism for the purpose of repressing protesters in  Ukraine, Egypt, Israel/Palestine, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Columbia , and a few dozen or so other places around the world, particularly in  Africa , where Obama's ratings have steadily declined as his sponsorship of terrorism and destabilization there has increased.

Every one of these examples of the US using terrorism to repress protesters is empirically worse than what is happening in Venezuela.  This instantly demonstrates with 100% clarity that the motivation behind the USA's proposed sanctions of Venezuela is anti-humanitarian.  

In  Ukraine , Obama is fully backing neo-Nazi terrorist attacks that have killed hundreds just in the last few days, and multiple hundreds in the last few months.  

Egypt : Obama is sending hundreds of millions of dollars and lethal weaponry and parts to the illegal military junta that killed several thousand protesters in the streets to take power, then issued mass death sentences to thousands more in the last few weeks.  Obama just reconfirmed in a speech that he refuses to stop sponsoring terrorism in Egypt, despite reports from Amnesty International of "unprecedented repression" there.  

Israel , as always, and  reconfirmed by Amnesty International in a recent report , simply slaughters Palestinian children and civilians, in their own country, with impunity thanks to US backing, as Israel did again the other day, shooting and killing two unarmed youths who were doing nothing.  Israel has more political prisoners than any other country in the region, and tortures children by keeping them in outdoor cages, over night, during winter.  Israel carried out the biggest terrorist attack in the last five years in 2009 when it killed somewhere from 1,700 to  7,000  people in Gaza, many with  chemical weapons that were provided by the USA and that Israel used to target civilians in hospitals, shelters, and schools .  

After that terrorist attack by Israel, Obama mandated an increase of hundreds of millions of dollars in aid to Israel, already the biggest recipient of US aid at over 3 billion US tax dollars per year, or 26 dollars per year, per US taxpayer.  

In fact, Obama requested the largest amount of military aid to Israel  ever . 

Bahrain , home to a major US violence base ("fifth fleet"), is, according to Amnesty International,  systematically targeting and torturing children as a way to terrorize protesters, while receiving material and political support from the Obama regime .  

Saudi Arabia , to which Obama recently, to bolster the despotism, sent the biggest lethal weapons shipment in US history (over 60 billion worth, including some illegal weapons), just sentenced a blogger to 1,000 lashes with a whip and ten years in a Saudi dungeon for "insulting Islam".  Saudi Arabia is, of course, a complete theocratic despotism with no human rights, the only place on earth where women are not allowed to drive. 

In  Columbia , Obama has taken up the traditional US role in Latin America by sponsoring  death squad terrorists  to repress independence, making Columbia a leading human rights violator of the world.   

Obama has woven an imperial web over  Africa , using tactics such as sponsoring terrorists  implicated at the UN for mass rape .  In Jeremy Scahill's documentary  Dirty Wars , a terrorist warlord being sponsored by the US who Scahill interviews says, his face showing humble reverence, "The Americans are the masters of war."  

At an earlier point in his time as chief talking head of the US criminal syndicate, 2009, Obama began backing (and continues to back) fascist repression of protests in  Paraguay.   The fascist military junta has since turned Paraguay into the  murder capital of the world .  While literally every other country on the planet condemns the actions, Obama and Hillary Clinton publicly support them for US plutocratic gain.

Obama and the US government not only do not  sanction  any of the above terrorists, they  sponsor, support, prop up, participate in, and help mastermind the terrorist attacks and plots .

(Obama also of course coordinated with financial crime syndicates to violently crush the peaceful Occupy protests.  And  here are one or two other crimes he has committed .)

There is a clear and obvious reason why Obama and the USA sponsor and commit terrorism to repress all these protesters, but then want to use the USA's dwindling, found economic wealth to hurt Venezuela: all of the terrorists the US sponsors are part of the US empire, and Venezuela's leadership is opposed to the US empire.  

The US-backed opposition in Venezuela is a far right minority that uses terrorism as a tactic, including decapitating people by stringing wire across roads.

The USA,  as confirmed months ago by leaked documents , helped engineer the current unrest in Venezuela, as it did the 2002 coup in Venezuela, to create a pretext for invading Venezuela and heisting its oil (the world's biggest reserves), as the USA did in  Iraq .  To engineer the current unrest, US planners said violence should be encouraged and “whenever possible lead to deaths and injuries.”   

This is the record.  It is obvious what the USA is doing, which is why it is considered, by the world, to be the biggest threat to world peace, with no competitor coming anywhere close.

The US will never stop trying to integrate the entire world into its empire, so that cash from  cheap resources and repressed labor  will flow into the pockets of US plutocrats and their proxy collaborators.    

The hope would be that it would not have to come to this, but mass, non-violent protests may be necessary to stop the USA, which, through its nonstop beatings and sadistic killings of the weak for profit, has made it as clear as it can that it is an amoral, inferior organization that is incapable of change and must be reinvented.
