American-killing Trump’s Afghanistan Speech Threatens Afghanistan, Pakistan, India And Humanity

trump

A mendacious, bullying, serial war criminal, exceptionalist and American-killing Trump has delivered a bellicose  Afghanistan Speech in which he promises endless war in war-devastated Afghanistan, threatens nuclear armed Pakistan, demands further Hindu-majority Indian involvement as a US agent in Muslim Afghanistan, and advises the world that “no place is beyond the reach of American might”.  The US-imposed, 4-decade Afghan Holocaust and Afghan Genocide is to continue under more draconian rules of engagement.

Trump’s Afghanistan Speech was a massive exercise in “fake news through lying by omission”. Thus no mention is made by Trump nor by the Mainstream media, politician, academic and commentariat presstitutes he so despises of  the horrendous carnage of the US War on Terror (aka the US War on Muslims) involving the deaths of 32 million  Muslims abroad (by violence or imposed deprivation) and the preventable deaths   of 27 million  Americans at home inescapably linked to the fiscal perversion of committing to a $7 trillion  long-term accrual cost of killing millions of Muslims abroad  instead of keeping millions of Americans alive at home. Bush, Obama and Trump are indeed American-killing US presidents. This essay involves a careful, documented commentary on Trump’s Afghanistan Speech that is prefaced by a requisite summary of  horrendous genocidal realities of the 21st century US War on Muslims that are utterly ignored by Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-subverted and perverted Mainstream media.

(A) Before dealing with Trump’s bellicose and exceptionalist Afghanistan Speech in detail it is important to sketch the following appalling realities  of post-WW2 US imperialism that are utterly ignored by Mainstream media:

A1.   US-imposed holocaust and genocide. The ultimate in racism is genocidal invasion of other countries, noting that while “holocaust” means death of a huge number of people,  “genocide” is  defined by Article 2 of the UN Genocide Convention as follows: “In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, as such: a) Killing members of the group; b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group” [1]. UN demographic statistics [2] demonstrate that the serial war criminal US has been committing genocide in country after country that it has invaded and occupied as detailed below [3-5].

A2. The worst state crime of all is illegal invasion of another country but International Law as enshrined in the UN Charter only permits invasion of  other countries in certain circumstances (and then only after serious negotiations): (1) if there is UN permission;  (2) if the invading country or its ally has been invaded by the country to be invaded; (3) if the invading country has been invited to invade by the government. However on the rare occasions when the US had UN sanction to invade it grossly violated this sanction by mass murder. When the US under nuclear terrorist and mass murderer Truman had UN sanction to invade Korea it ended up killing 28% of the North Korean population, a Korean Genocide with genocide as defined above by the UN [6]. Similarly, the US under serial war criminal Obama via  its France, UK and US (FUKUS) Coalition  had UN sanction to apply a “free fly zone” over Libya, it ended up violently killing 0.1 million Libyans, perhaps killing a further 0.1 million Libyans through imposed  deprivation, generating 1 million refugees and devastating what had formerly been a secular country and  the most prosperous country in impoverished Africa –  a Libyan Genocide as defined above [7].

A3. Deaths from invasion and war include those from violence plus avoidable deaths (avoidable mortality,  excess deaths, excess mortality, untimely deaths, premature deaths) from imposed deprivation. Avoidable deaths are readily estimated from UN Population Division mortality statistics [2, 4] but violent Indigenous deaths in US wars are difficult to estimate precisely because,  as US General Tommy Franks declared in Afghanistan: “We don’t do body counts” [8]. However, expert surveys by the UK ORB polling company and by top US medical epidemiologists have provided the expert estimate of 1.5 million violent Iraqi deaths in the period 2001-2017 (Iraqi avoidable deaths from war-imposed deprivation total 1.2 million in this period) [8].  These mortality estimates for Iraq can be then used to variously estimate violent killing in other current US wars e.g. 1.4 million in the Afghan War assuming it has been 4 times less deadly than the Iraq War [9].  US-imposed deaths from violence or from war-imposed deprivation are estimated to total 6 million (Iraqi Genocide, 1990-2017), 6 million (Afghan Genocide, 2001-2017), 2.2 million (Somali Genocide, 1992-2017), 1 million (Syrian Genocide, 2012-2017) and 0.2 million (Libyan Genocide, 2011-2017) with refugees totalling 6 million (Iraq), 2 million (Afghanistan), 1 million (Somalia), 12 million (Syria) and 1 million (Libya) [7-9]. Deaths from violence or imposed deprivation in post-1950 US Asian Wars total 40 million and globally refugees now total 65 million with about half fleeing US-, Apartheid Israel- or US Alliance-imposed violence, this constituting an Asian Holocaust and an Asian Genocide  [3, 4, 7]. The ongoing Palestinian Genocide by US-backed Apartheid Israel has involved 2 million Palestinian deaths from violence, 0.1 million, or imposed deprivation, 1.9 million, since WW1 [10]. The  horrendous deaths from the US War on Muslims (aka the US War on Terror) now include 32 million Muslim deaths from violence, 5 million, or deprivation, 27 million, in 20 countries invaded by the US Alliance since the US Government’s 9-11 false flag atrocity [11, 12].

A4. The Americans have invaded 72 countries (52 after WW2) as compared to  the  British 193, Australia 85, France 82, Germany 39, Japan 30, Russia 25, Canada 25,  Apartheid Israel 12,  China 2 and Korea zero (0) [5, 13-17].  The US has military personnel in 156 countries [18], has military bases in 75 countries [18, 19] and endlessly subverts all other countries [3].

A5. American exceptionalism means that the US is disproportionately  involved in the 3 key existential threats facing Humanity, namely nuclear weapons, poverty and climate change.  A nuclear  war would wipe out most of Humanity and the Biosphere through the initial blasts, subsequent radioactive pollution and a lengthy, global nuclear winter. America has about 8,000 nuclear weapons, is complicit in the spread of nuclear weapons, opposes nuclear disarmament [20] and under Trump is raising the spectre of an apocalyptic  first strike against North Korea, China and Russia. Poverty kills and 17 million people die annually from deprivation on Spaceship Earth with America in charge of the flight deck [4]. America makes a disproportionately high (20%)  contribution to annual greenhouse gas pollution  [21, 22] and to a worsening climate genocide that will mean 10 billion deaths from climate change this century if greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution is not requisitely stopped and reversed [23-25].

A6. 1.7 million Americans die preventably each year  from a variety of causes from smoking to homicide. This means that 27 million Americans have died preventable deaths since the US Government’s 9-11 false flag atrocity that killed abut 3,000 people [12, 26-28]. In the 16 years after 9-11 (2001-2017) about 60 people died  in the US from political terrorist attacks [27, 29, 30 ] whereas 27 million Americans  died from various causes linked to state-sanctioned corporate terrorism, including  about 3 million from air pollution – clear evidence of US state-sanctioned corporate terrorism and carbon terrorism [30]. While US military deaths in the War on Terror total about 7,000 [32], an average of about 20 US veterans have been suiciding each day this century [33] i.e. 20 per day x 365.25 days per year x 16 years = 117,000 US veterans have suicided since the US Government’s 9-11 false flag atrocity that killed 3,000 people, mostly Americans.  These 27 million preventable American deaths are inescapably linked to Zionist-beholden US Governments committing to a $40 trillion long-term accrual cost of supporting Apartheid Israel, this including a $7 trillion long-term accrual cost for the  killing  of millions of Muslims abroad in the Zionist-promoted War on Terror instead of keeping millions of Americans alive at home. Despite only 3 Australians having ever been killed by jihadi terrorists in Australia, US lackey Australia has similarly committed to $11 billion per year long-term to the War on Terror ($176 billion since 9-11) with this fiscal perversion linked to 1.4 million preventable Australian deaths since 9-11 [34]. US lackey Canada has similarly committed hugely to the War on Terror with this inescapably linked to 0.1 million Canadian preventable deaths annually or  1.6 million preventable deaths in Canada since 9-11 [35]. The UK has similarly committed hugely to the War  on Terror with this linked in terms of fiscal deprivation to 0.15 million UK  preventable deaths annually or  2.4 million preventable deaths in the UK since the 9-11 atrocity that killed 3,000 people [36].

A7. Active and passive killing by US  state terrorism and variously US-backed non-state terrorism. All terrorism is evil and vile whether it is  non-state jihadi terrorism (like the initially US Alliance-backed Al-Qaeda or the barbarous IS that was born out of the war criminal US invasion of the secular state of Iraq and has been variously covertly supported by the US, UK, France, Turkey, Apartheid Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar)  or the vastly more deadly state terrorism  (e.g. US Alliance state terrorism that in the 21st century  has been waging a genocidal war on Muslims from Western Sahara to the Philippines) [3, 4, 5, 7-12]. The US has a long record of covertly supporting  non-state terrorists to further its aims [12, 37-42] e.g. Gladio (that committed atrocities in Europe that were blamed on Communists) [40], rightist Ecuadorean terrorists (who would bomb Catholic churches so that socialists would be blamed) [41], and Al-Qaeda, Mujaheddin and Taliban jihadis (that fought the Russian invasion after the US engineered the removal of Afghanistan’s democratic and secular government in 1978) [3, 4]. Indeed, on the basis that “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”,  IS and Al-Qaeda jihadis are allies of Trump America because they have been variously backed by members of the US Alliance (most notably by Islamofascist Saudi Arabia and Qatar) in devastated Syria and starving Yemen. Evil terrorists have actively killed about 60 Americans in America since 9-11. It is not known how many of these non-state  terrorists were   excited by US agents provocateurs, noting that the US has an appalling record of  involvement in false-flag atrocities [3, 4, 37-42] and of backing fundamentalist Muslim jihadis in Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and Yemen. One sincerely hopes that there will be no further “jihadist” attacks on America or the US Alliance countries for two major reasons: (1) for obvious humanitarian reasons – any avoidable innocent death is a tragedy; and (2) there would clearly be a subsequent huge killing of people in the Muslim world by US forces as seen in the post-9/11 carnage in Afghanistan, Iraq and the Muslim word in general from Mali to the Philippines . Whether US-backed or not, jihadi terrorism is a major asset for US imperialism, with each atrocity providing a further “excuse” for genocidal US Alliance aggression  in the Muslim world that has already in the 21st century  killed 32 million Muslims through violence (active killing)  or imposed deprivation  (passive killing) [11].

A8. War criminal US passive mass murder of Afghan children.   Articles 55 and 56 of the Geneva Convention relative to Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War both demand that an Occupier must provided its conquered Subjects with life-sustaining food and medical services “to the fullest extent of the means available to it” [43]. UN Population Division data [2] inform that in the 21st century so far, the average annual  under-5 infant deaths has been 101,000 for Occupied Afghanistan (average population 28.8 million) as compared to 1,500  for Occupier Australia (average population 22.1 million). If Occupier Australia,  Occupier America and Occupier US Alliance were to observe these key articles of the Geneva Convention then we would expect that annual under-5 infant mortality  in Occupied Afghanistan would be 1,500 deaths x 28.8 million/ 22,1 million = 1,955 or about 2,000 deaths per year instead of the observed 101,000. Through  this racist violation of the Geneva Convention,  the extremely rich US Alliance Occupiers have been passively killing an average of 99,000 Afghan infants each year this century and have thus passively murdered 99,000 per year x 16 years = 1.584 million under-5 year old Occupied Afghan infants since the 9-11 atrocity that killed 3,000 people. It gets worse. For impoverished countries like Occupied Afghanistan the avoidable mortality  from deprivation is 1.4 times the under-5 infant deaths [4], and accordingly Afghan avoidable deaths from deprivation in Occupied Afghanistan have totalled 1.5684 million x 1.4 = 2.218 million since 9-11. Based on expert estimates of violent Iraqi deaths and expert assessment that the Afghan War was 4 times less violent than the Iraq War, one can crudely estimate 0.7 million violent Afghan deaths for a total of 2.9 million Afghan deaths from violence and imposed deprivation since 9-11 (about half a previous estimate made 5 years ago) [9]. According to the “mendacious  Bush official version of 9-11” no Afghans were directly involved in the 9-11 atrocity – indeed former US-installed Occupied Afghanistan President Karzai has declared himself quite unconvinced by the US “official version of 9-11” and denies  any Al Qaeda presence in Afghanistan [12]. However one can estimate that the US Alliance has actively or passively killed 2,918,000 / 2,997 = 974 or about 1,000 Occupied Afghans (half of them children) for every person killed on 9-11. American exceptionalism indeed.

A9. Mainstream media and Trump fake news through lying by omission. Most of what I have summarized above is glaringly obvious to a humanitarian scientist examining the  causes of death (thanatology), whether of  17 million annual  avoidable deaths from deprivation in the Third World  [4] or of huge  preventable  deaths in rich US Alliance countries for which avoidable deaths on a global comparative  scale are close to zero e.g. 1.7 million preventable American deaths annually from causes ranging from smoking and adverse hospital outcomes to homicide [25-28, 30, 31, 33-36]. However these horrendous realities are kept from information-saturated US Alliance citizens though  egregious lying by omission by  Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-perverted and subverted Mainstream media, politician, academic and commentariat presstitutes. The above necessary background to Trump’s Afghanistan Speech is utterly absent from mendacious Mainstream media analysis.due to Mainstream media and Trump fake news through lying by omission [44-46].

(B). There is little point in a sentence-by-sentence analysis of  the rambling Afghanistan Speech [47] by pathological liar, racist, serial war criminal and mass murderer of children, Donald Trump, but below are some of Trump’s key declarations in order of delivery  together with my succinct comments:

B1. “I am here tonight to lay out our path forward in Afghanistan and South Asia.”

Comment: That is,  a serial invader America that has invaded over 70 nations  will further extend its violence, war criminality and subversion to Pakistan, India, Bangladesh etc. ). One notes that no countries have been invaded by North Korea and arguably only 1 by Afghanistan (which under Ahmed Shah transiently invaded India in 1760, joined with a Muslim Coalition to defeat the Hindu Marathas at the gigantic Battle of Panipot,  and thence promptly returned to Kabul  [4]).

B2. “American patriots from every generation have given their last breath on the battlefield for our nation and for our freedom… all service members are brothers and sisters. They’re all part of the same family. It’s called the American family.”

Comment:  1.7 million Americans die preventably each year and 27 million have died thus since 9-11 due to the utterly obscene, fiscal perversion of  successive Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-subverted,  One Percenter Administrations that have committed $7 trillion since 9-11 in terms of long-term accrual cost to killing 32 million Muslims abroad for oil and hegemony rather than keeping 27 million Americans alive at home [25-28, 30]. Over 100,000 US veterans have suicided since 9-11 due to lack of care from “the American family” [25-28, 30, 33].

B3. “Thanks to the vigilance and skill of the American military, and of our many allies throughout the world, horrors on the scale of September 11th—nobody can ever forget that—have not been repeated on our shores. But we must acknowledge the reality I’m here to talk about tonight: that nearly 16 years after the September 11th attacks, after the extraordinary sacrifice of blood and treasure, the American people are weary of war without victory. Nowhere is this more evident than with the war in Afghanistan, the longest war in American history, 17 years.”

Comment: About 60 Americans have been killed in America by terrorists since 9-11 [26-30]. The US Government has not found it necessary to repeat 9-11 – the deaths of 3,000 people on 9-11 was enough to  secure a patriotic consensus for an endless War on Muslims (aka the US War on Terror) in which there have been  32 million Muslim deaths from violence, 5 million, or deprivation, 27 million, in 20 countries invaded by the US Alliance since the US Government’s 9-11 false flag atrocity [7, 11, 12]. The US Afghan War has actually lasted 4 decades since the US-backed jihadi removal of the secular Afghan Government in 1978 [4].

B4. “I arrived at three fundamental conclusions about America’s core interests in Afghanistan. First, our nation must seek an honorable and enduring outcome worthy of the tremendous sacrifices that have been made, especially the sacrifices of lives.”

Comment: Mass murder of 2.9 million Occupied Afghans (half of them children; see A9 above)  followed by adumbrated endless mass murder of Afghans (half of them children) in a perpetually occupied Afghanistan,  is hardly “honorable”. “Thou shalt not kill children” [48]).

B5. “Second, the consequences of a rapid exit are both predictable and unacceptable. 9/11, the worst terrorist attack in our history, was planned and directed from Afghanistan, because that country was ruled by a government that gave comfort and shelter to terrorists. A hasty withdrawal would create a vacuum that terrorists, including ISIS and Al-Qaeda, would instantly fill just as happened before September 11th… The vacuum we created by leaving too soon gave safe haven for ISIS to spread, to grow, recruit, and launch attacks. We cannot repeat in Afghanistan the mistake our leaders made in Iraq.”

Comment: Numerous science, architecture, engineering, aviation, military and intelligence experts have concluded that the US Government was responsible for 9-11 with some concluding  Israeli and Saudi involvement [12]. Indeed both Donald Trump and Al Gore have blamed the Bush Administration for a massive intelligence failure over 9-11 [12]. Notably,  the US-installed former President of Occupied Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, has rejected US claims of Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and does not accept the American “official version of 9-11”: “[Al-Qaeda] is for me a myth […] For us, they don’t exist. I don’t know if al-Qaeda existed and I don’t know if they exist. I have not seen them and I’ve not had any report about them, any report that would indicate that al-Qaeda is operating in Afghanistan.[Re US claim about Osama bin Laden and 9-11]   That is what I have heard from our Western friends. That’s what the Western media says. There is no doubt that an operation, a terrorist operation was conducted in New York and in Washington…  I neither believe nor disbelieve something that I don’t know about. I can tell you that Afghanistan was as much a victim of terrorism as was America, as were the people who were killed in the September 11th terrorist attacks” [12]. Exceptionalist warmonger and serial war criminal Trump is saying that the illegal and war criminal occupation of Iraq (2.7 million Iraqi deaths from violence or deprivation  in the period 2003-2011 [7, 10]) should have continued. Trump is correct on one thing – just as the US backed jihadis such as Al Qaeda, the Mujaheddin and the Taliban in Afghanistan, so Al Qaeda and ISIS in Iraq was an outcome of the illegal US occupation  that Trump now seems to retrospectively support. The France-UK-US (FUKUS) Coalition backed jihadis against the secular Gaddafi regime in formerly peaceful and prosperous Libya.  The US Alliance, notably the US, UK, France, Turkey, Apartheid Israel, Qatar, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, have variously backed   Al Qaeda, Al Nusrah and ISIS jihadis against he secular Assad regime in formerly prosperous, peaceful and tolerant  Syria [7].

B6. “Third and finally, I concluded that the security threats we face in Afghanistan, and the broader region, are immense. Today 20 U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organizations are active in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The highest concentration in any region, anywhere in the world. For its part, Pakistan often gives safe haven to agents of chaos, violence, and terror.

Comment: The key phrase here is “US-designated foreign terrorist”. The border between Afghanistan and Pakistan is defined by a line drawn by vile, 19th century British imperialists. The Indigenous Sunni fundamentalist Taliban movement that ruled Afghanistan before the war criminal  US invasion in 2001 has massive support from  the Indigenous Pashtuns of Afghanistan and Pakistan who have a homeland which is south of the Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan and west of the Indus River in Pakistan. The Pashtun and the Taliban are a significant part of the “Pakistan family” just as the racist Religious Right Republicans  (R4s) are a significant part of the “American family” and indeed of the Trump constituency (for a comparison of the two see “The Clash of Fundamentalisms: Crusades, Jihads and Modernity” by brilliant, UK-domiciled, non-religious, humanitarian  Pakistani writer Tariq Ali [49]). As a pro-peace, non-religious, humanitarian  scientist I don’t care for the ideology and practices of either side  but would  make the following key observations:

(i) after the horrendous 2004 Tsunami the secular Indonesian Government terminated a bloody civil war against fundamentalist  separatists in Aceh with negotiations and a peaceful accommodation (there are always peaceful alternatives – thus the Taliban might well entertain   a quid pro quo of hostility  to Shia Iran and exclusive resource deals with America in return for peace and restoration of a Taliban Government ) ;

(ii) the Indigenous Pashtun Taliban have massive support in Afghanistan and Pakistan (I suspect more than Trump presently has in America) and the American Afghan War is a genocidal war of imperial occupation [7, 9];

(iii)  nobody is “all bad” and when in power the Taliban banned smoking for public servants, banned alcohol of course,  and banned opium production, reducing  the Afghan opium production from 90% of world market share to 6% by 2001 [9].  Each year smoking kills about 6 million people, alcohol kills about 2 million people and opiate drugs kill about 0.1 million people.  Utterly ignored by Neocon American and Zionist  Imperialist (NAZI)-perverted and subverted Western Mainstream media is the 2015 estimate that   1.2 million people had died world-wide since 9-11 due to US Alliance restoration of the Taliban-destroyed Afghan opium industry from 6% of world market share in 2001 to 93% in 2007, the breakdown (as of 2015)  including 280,000 Americans, 256,000 Indonesians, 68,000 Iranians, 25,000 British, 14,000 Canadians, 10,000 Germans, and 5,000 Australians [9].

(iv) while 2,400 American soldiers have died in the Afghan War [38], successive American-killing US Administrations under Bush, Obama and Trump have presided over Afghan deaths from violence or deprivation totalling 2.9 million since 9-11(see A8 above); 7,300 US veteran suicides annually (117,000 since 9-11) [33]; and 1.7 million American preventable deaths annually (27 million since 9-11), the breakdown (with some overlaps) including:  (1)  443,000 (smoking), (2) 440,000 ( adverse hospital events), (3) 300,000 ( obesity), (4) 200,000 ( air pollution),(5) 75,000 (alcohol),  (6) 45,000 ( lack of medical insurance), (7) 38,000 (illicit drugs, 21,000 Afghan War-related),(8) 33,000 ( motor vehicles), (9) 31,000 (guns),  (10) 30,000 (suicide including 7,000 US veterans), (11) 21,000 (avoidable under-5 year old US infant deaths), (12) 15,000 (homicide) and (13) 4 (from terrorists in America)  [26-30].

B7. “The threat is worse because Pakistan and India are two nuclear-armed states whose tense relations threaten to spiral into conflict… In Afghanistan and Pakistan, America’s interests are clear. We must stop the resurgence of safe havens that enable terrorists to threaten America. And we must prevent nuclear weapons and materials from coming into the hands of terrorists, and being used against us, or anywhere in the world for that matter.”

Comment. There is an enormous threat to South Asia in this bull-in-a-china-shop Trump declaration. It is dangerous enough that Pakistan and India are nuclear armed,  have a longstanding difference over Kashmir, and have substantial fanatical populations of fundamentalist  Muslims and Hindutva hard-line fanatics, respectively. South Asia does not need an ignorant and clumsy bully like Trump who recognizes the acute dangers but is happy to stir the pot by threatening expanded diplomatic and  military action against Pakistan while simultaneously suggesting further Indian engagement in Afghanistan  as an agent of an anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan US (see B12 below).

B8. “Conditions on the ground, not arbitrary timetables, will guide our strategy from now on. America’s enemies must never know our plans, or believe they can wait us out. I will not say when we are going to attack, but attack we will.”

Comment: Already the US is directly involved in military actions in Libya, starving Somalia, starving Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan,  Pakistan  and the Philippines, engagements that notably involve the use of drones that are crucially targeted by  the US-Australian  joint electronic spying facility at Pine Gap in Central Australia [5, 14, 50, 51]. The US further has bases in 75 countries and has a long and dirty history of covert operations [3-5, 12, 18, 19, 39-42].

B9. Another fundamental pillar of our new strategy is the integration of all instruments of American power—diplomatic, economic, and military—toward a successful outcome…We are a partner and a friend, but we will not dictate to the Afghan people how to live or how to govern their own complex society.”

Comment. Trump’s declaration that “we will not dictate to the Afghan people” is utterly dishonest and disingenuous when he proposes endless occupation of Afghanistan. As analyzed above in A8, the US and the US Alliance are grossly violating the Geneva Convention in Occupied Afghanistan as revealed by the smoking gun of under-5 infant deaths in 2001-2017   totalling 1.6 million in Occupied Afghanistan (2000-2020 average population 28.8 million) as compared to 24,000 in Asian-child-killing, US lackey Occupier Australia (2000-2020 average population 22.1 million). To reiterate, Articles 55 and 56 of the Geneva Convention relative to Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War both demand that an Occupier must provided its conquered Subjects with life-sustaining food and medical services “to the fullest extent of the means available to it” [43], but this is not reflected in the appalling infant mortality data for Occupied Afghanistan. In supporting racist  legislation for what became known as the White Australia Policy that excluded Indians, Africans, Asians and indeed non-Europeans in general from Australia in the period 1901-1974, White Australia’s first Prime Minister Edmund Barton notoriously stated (1901) that: “The doctrine of the equality of man was never intended to apply to the equality of an Englishman and the Chinaman” [52-54]. US lackey Occupier Australia in 2017 is saying that 50 Afghan infants are not worth 1 White Australian infant, that 50 Asians don’t equal 1 White. Of course, as revealed by the recent Charlottesville  atrocity, racism is as American as apple pie and numerous US experts from science to business  have withdrawn from position advising Trump over his contradictory recent comments on this matter.

B10. “We are not nation building again. We are killing terrorists.”

Comment. US policy in invading 72 other countries has been to thence install pliant dictatorships or pseudo-democratic regimes to do US bidding. Thus in US-invaded countries from Latin America to East Asia,  “nation building” by imposition of “American democracy” has variously involved intimidating, exiling, imprisoning, torturing or killing the Indigenous leaders and their supporters and then holding “democratic elections” [3, 4, 41]. John Perkins in his book “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man” describes how the US tries to gets it way in Developing  countries by bribery and corruption, thence by assassination, and if all that fails, by invasion and elimination of the people it doesn’t like  [55]. Trump’s declaration that “we are killing terrorists” is a statement of genocidal intent. The fundamentalist  Muslim Taliban have massive support in Afghanistan and Pakistan especially among the Pashtun population, and “indigenous terrorists” to US imperialists  like Trump are  indigenous people resisting US Occupation. As the saying goes, one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter. Trump is an unusual genocidal imperialist in that he has explicitly stated his genocidal intent.  To reiterate,  “genocide” is  defined by Article 2 of the UN Genocide Convention as follows: “In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, as such: a) Killing members of the group; b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group” [1].

B11. “The next pillar of our new strategy is to change the approach in how to deal with Pakistan. We can no longer be silent about Pakistan’s safe-havens for terrorist organizations, the Taliban and other groups that pose a threat to the region and beyond. Pakistan has much to gain from partnering with our effort in Afghanistan. It has much to lose by continuing to harbor criminals and terrorists.”

Comment. Trump is crudely and publicly threatening nuclear-armed Pakistan with unspecified retribution for not embarking on a genocidal program of devastating and exterminating a substantial  part of its ilk in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

B12. “Another critical part of the South-Asia strategy for America is to further develop its strategic partnership with India; the world’s largest democracy, and a key security and economic partner of the United States. We appreciate India’s important contributions to stability in Afghanistan, but India makes billions of dollars in trade with the United States—and we want them to help us more with Afghanistan, especially in the area of economic assistance and development.”

Comment. Ignorant bully Trump is simply  crudely and public threatening India with unspecified retribution if it does not go “all the way with the USA”. India arguably  has the largest Muslim population of any country in the world (the total Indian population is 1,329 million, with an Indian Muslim population of 266 million; ranking second is Indonesia with a total  population of 259 million and a Muslim population of 228 million  [42, 56]). Indian governments have always  had to carefully balance the Hindu-Muslim dichotomy for communal peace after the horrors of Partition. Indian PM Modi has already worried humane Indians by his departure from over a century  of India’s leadership of the world in  the fight against Apartheid by visiting and embracing US-backed Apartheid Israel that is a powerful supporter of the US War on Muslims.

B13. “Finally, my administration will ensure that you, the brave defenders of the American people [the US military] will have the necessary tools and rules of engagement to make this strategy work, and work effectively, and work quickly.… That’s why we will also expand authority for American armed forces to target the terrorists and criminal networks that sow violence and chaos through Afghanistan. These killers need to know they have nowhere to hide, that no place is beyond the reach of American might and American arms. Retribution will be fast and powerful as we lift restrictions and expand authorities.”

Comment. “The necessary tools and rules of engagement to make this strategy work” were introduced by war criminal  Obama  and presently include  undeclared war directly involving US forces in 8 countries, remotely controlled drone-based bombing targeted by joint US-Australian facilities in Central Australia, and drone-based, extrajudicial killing of people the US Government doesn’t like, including American citizens.  The ultimate in American exceptionalism is the  Trump assertion that “no place is beyond the reach of American might and American arms” that is a bullying threat to the whole world to which pro-peace citizens of the world can only respond with “Go home Yank”.   However science fiction is now becoming horrible reality with small to large, remotely-controlled weapons operating without any national or international  scrutiny in free fire zones in any country of choice. Advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) mean that the next step of autonomous weapons may be only  a few years away from deployment and has prompted a  recent letter signed by116 robotics and AI experts, including Tesla chief Elon Musk and Alphabet’s Mustafa Suleyman, demanding that the UN ban the development and use of autonomous “killer robots”: “As companies building the technologies in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics that may be repurposed to develop autonomous weapons, we feel especially responsible in raising this alarm…  Lethal autonomous weapons threaten to become the third revolution in warfare. Once developed, they will permit armed conflict to be fought at a scale greater than ever, and at timescales faster than humans can comprehend. These can be weapons of terror, weapons that despots and terrorists use against innocent populations, and weapons hacked to behave in undesirable ways. We do not have long to act. Once this Pandora’s box is opened, it will be hard to close. We therefore implore the High Contracting Parties to find a way to protect us all from these dangers” [57, 58]

B14. “We will ask our NATO allies and global partners to support our new strategy with additional troop and funding increases in line with our own.”

Comment. But one must query whether  America’s “NATO allies and global partners” will have the stomach to continue  their active complicity in the US-imposed, ongoing Afghan Holocaust and Afghan Genocide that has killed an estimated 2.9 million Occupied Afghans through violence, 0.7 million, or war-imposed deprivation, 2.2 million, since the US Government’s 9-11 false flag atrocity that killed about 3,000 people [7, 9, 12]. Before the  1944 Ardeatine Caves Massacre, Nazi dictator Adolph Hitler ordered the execution of 10 enemy people for every German soldier killed by partisans , an enemy /German soldier death ratio of 10 [59]. In Afghanistan the US Alliance has an Afghan/US soldier death ratio of 2.9 million/ 2,400 = 1,200 (or 120 times greater than that advocated by Hitler) and has  an Afghan /9-11 victim death ratio of 2.9 million/3,000 = 967, or about 1, 000 (100 times greater than that advocated by Hitler). One recalls that when asked “What do you think of  Western civilization” Mahatma Gandhi famously replied “I think it would be a good idea” [60] .

B15. “May God bless our military, and may God bless the United States of America.”

Comment. In making this declaration of faith in support from God, Trump has a common position with the equally barbarous but fortunately not very powerful Islamic State (IS) and related jihadi, non-state  terrorist groups . To atheist, secular, Humanists such as myself , the proposition of the existence of God  is not a scientific hypothesis because  it is not a potentially falsifiable hypothesis that can be subject to critical testing. That said, Humanists would readily  concede that theism, like poetry, literature, art and music,  can give comfort to many and indeed has been the inspiration  for transcendental art. One supposes that if an infinitely good God exists He/She would most definitely not  support  non-state terrorists such as those of IS, Al Qaeda and other jihadi organizations  nor state terrorists such as those of  US state terrorism, UK state terrorism, French state terrorism, Apartheid Israeli state terrorism, Australian state terrorism, Canadian state terrorism, Turkish state terrorism, Saudi state terrorism and potentially  terracidal nuclear state terrorism [16, 17].

Final comments.

In his Afghanistan Speech, mendacious, bullying, serial war criminal, exceptionalist and American-killing US President Donald Trump is publicly articulating the covert policies of the Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-subverted US intelligence, military, corporate and political Establishment. However the danger from Trump’s big mouth is that  blatant articulation of this violent obscenity makes it the new public norm. The world must urgently stand up against these warmongering psychopaths. The killing must stop. Peace is the only way but silence kills and silence is complicity. What can decent people do in the face of the growing existential threat from a violent and exceptionalist America under Trump?  Decent people must (a) evade the lying Mainstream media by informing everyone they can , and (b) apply Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions, (BDS) against the US Alliance people, politicians, parties, countries, companies and corporations complicit in this potentially terracidal  US War on Humanity [20].

The failure of Trump to abolish ObamaCare occurred because Republican Congressional representatives responded to the serious concerns of  ordinary Americans  over the deadly threat of lack of medical insurance (it was estimated that 43,000 Americans would die over 2 Trump terms if ObamaCare were abolished [28]). Ordinary Americans  must urgently respond to the Awful Truth – so well hidden by Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-subverted Mainstream media, politician, academic and commentariat presstitutes – that while terrorist psychopaths kill an average of about 4 Americans in America each year, 1.7 million Americans die preventably annually under an American-killing Trump Administration that, like its predecessors, is committed to spending   trillions of dollars (in terms of long-term accrual cost) on killing millions of Muslim abroad rather than keeping millions of Americans alive at home. Americans must get out into the streets and assert that “American Lives Matter”.
