Youth Of The World, Arise!

Every person in this world has a unique idea or vision of life. Some people are pessimistic where as others are optimistic and there are a few who don't have any approach towards life. A vision or an imaginative perception is the key to a successful life and a bright future. Visions and apparitions play a key role in the lives of people. The importance of vision is evident from the fact that a group or community that share a common vision is capable of turning around the entire social setup of a country or a nation.
Every individual in this world has a vision for his or her future, the future of his/her country and the world at large. Being a part of the world community, one must have a clear vision and idea about the future of this world. When we look around ourselves, our world, we find hunger, thirst, poverty, illiteracy, and other social menaces like pollution and diseases plaguing our society. It is quite painful to see Bombs and Cruse Missiles being dropped on civilian population, even children are not spared in such "Precision Bombing".
One major issue is with the politicians and the political horizon of the country. The focus of political leaders dictates and determines the path of nation. Alas, our politicians have short term goals rather then long term Strategic plans. They tend to go for a fight against the trivial issues like Uniform, America and Israel rather than for eliminating, poverty and illiteracy from the country. Terrorism is the branch that shoots from the tree of fanaticism. When we, the youth of today hear the cry of an Israeli mother crying over her son's death in a so called "Suicide Bombing" and when a Kashmiri mother wails on the martyrdom of her son by the Occupation Forces in the so called "State Terrorism", it is hard to understand why there are so much atrocities around us? People dying, killed, looting, plundering, all things are happing before our eyes. All we need is a Benchmark to analyze, to see for ourselves what is causing such things to happen.
As we look around us, we find millions of men and women, boys and girls protesting be it Americans, Asians, Europeans all standing against globalization. Even when these people are baton charged and shelled with tear gas, there determination is not deterred. Why is this happening? What is the cause behind it? What are the factors that are responsible? Why are the people revolting? We are confused and puzzled to see why the nations of this world are spending so much on the defense sector rather than elevating the problems of their citizens. The keen desire of some fundamentalist regimes is to have a "Nuclear Shield" and an efficient delivery system to deter, any attack on the sovereignty of their nation. Doesn't these people know what happened in the Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Can we afford such a calamity again?
The youth of today has to decide for his Vision after closely and carefully monitoring the situation all round the world. As it is said,Think Global Act Local
As we are living in a society much different to that of Europe and Americas, we have to keep in mind our local Culture, our Traditions as well. Global peace must be the foundation stone when laying the plan for a Vision. We would plan to make this world as a better place to live, by making it secure and more favorable for life. In order to achieve these goals we have to make our Presence Felt, by going public, by expressing our thoughts and by not keeping them in the closets of our minds. We, have to give voice to our ideas if we have to make a difference. The youth of today are more well- informed then their fore fathers were. All this is because of the technological and media revolution.
As pollution has become a major Global issue, efforts must be put in order to develop an alternative Energy Resource. We as the youth would plan to employ our potential in this regards. If there would be any progress in the Environment Friendly Fuel Production, generations to come would remember us as pioneers and heroes of this millennium. We should work in spreading the message of love and peace can cool down the hatred present in this world between nations and religious communities. This can only happen if by educating our new generations with a concept of Love, Peace, Brotherhood and equality rather than with extremism and fanaticism. I hope if the Economically Stable countries of this world give the Economically Unstable countries a helping hand and would help them in stabilizing there economies, it would be a boon for the people of the Under developed countries. Countries all over the world should join their hands to form a Global Coalition against the threats like, terrorism, diseases (like, AIDS, SARS etc.), conflicts, natural calamities etc. Thus, if we join our hands now and keep peace and harmony as our vision, then only we can have a more safer and prosperous world.
Albert Einstein has been quoted saying: "A man can do as he will but not will as he will." Thus, all these imaginative perceptions we have, as our vision of this world are our dreams all we can do is pray and I hope that it would materialize in the time to come.
