Iraq Kickback Scam –
Did Bush And Blair Know,
Lie And Betray?

British and American Intelligence
services can listen to your phone calls, read your e-mails, contracts,
and tenders, and indeed know ALL through the ECHELON satellite spy system.
Through collaborative arrangements such information can be made available
to the intelligence services of other Anglo-Celtic countries (Canada,
Australia and New Zealand) (see: http://news.zdnet.com/2100-9595_22-524698.html
). Indeed the French have been so concerned about the Anglo-Celtic commercial
advantage from Echelon that they have developed their own version (referred
to as “Frenchelon”) (see: http://news.zdnet.co.uk/business/0,39020645,2079875,00.htm
).
Anglo-Celtic Intelligence
services HAD to have known from the very start about the Australian
Wheat Board (AWB) "Wheat for Weapons" kickback scam that diverted
US$250 million from the UN Oil-for-Food Program and funded the Saddam
Hussein régime. Indeed by 2000 the Iraqi kickbacks arrangements
were well known to everyone with an interest in trading with Iraq and
the Canadians and Americans (competitors with Australia in the lucrative
Iraq wheat trade) were officially complaining.
According to the UN Volker
Report (2005) (see: http://www.iic-offp.org/story27oct05.htm
), the AWB had paid kickbacks to the Saddam Hussein régime
totalling over 14% of the total of US$1.8 billion of such kickbacks
paid during the period of 1997-2003 associated with the US$35 billion
UN Oil-for-Food program. Australia was the biggest contributor to the
illegal funding of the Saddam Hussein régime and thence of the
Iraqi insurgency, notwithstanding the reality that Australian armed
forces have been part of the US-led Coalition that supervised Sanctions,
fought Iraq, invaded Iraq and fought the post-invasion insurgency (see:
http://mwcnews.net/content/view/4795/26/
).
The Australian Wheat Board
(AWB) scam is estimated to have killed up to 21,000 Iraqi infants through
diversion of scarce funds from food and medical supplies. However this
appalling “collateral damage” from a greedy corporate scam
has simply NOT been reported by Australian or Anglo-American mainstream
media – the same media that will simply NOT report the post-invasion
avoidable deaths and under-5 infant deaths in Iraq that now total 0.5
million and 0.4 million, respectively (however see Senator Rachel Siewert,
Hansard, Australian Senate, Wednesday 1 March 2006, pp30-31: http://www.aph.gov.au/hansard/senate/dailys/ds010306.pdf
, http://www.newsvine.com/awb
and http://mwcnews.net/content/view/4679/26/
).
According to Australian Opposition
Leader, Mr Kim Beazley (staunchly pro-American but opposed to the Iraq
War): "I'm embarrassed as an Australian by what has happened here.
We have funded the Iraqi insurgency. And that has so far killed or maimed
two divisions worth of American soldiers and countless thousands of
Iraqis”. (see: http://www.abc.net.au/pm/content/2006/s1558332.htm
).
The post-Volker Report Australian
Cole Inquiry into the AWB scandal has established that just about everybody
world-wide with an interest in the matter KNEW about the Iraqi kickbacks
system since about 2000 - except, apparently, for the Australian Government,
which still insists that its Ministers did not read 28 warning e-mails
and cables about illegal kickback demands. However a recent poll has
established that 72% of Australians aware of the Cole Inquiry believe
that the Australian Government DID know that the AWB was paying kickbacks
to Saddam Hussein (see: http://au.news.yahoo.com/060404/2/yhdd.html
).
If Bush and Blair KNEW that
Australia was funding Saddam Hussein and funded the Iraqi insurgency
– and it beggars belief that they didn’t – they did
not let on (see: http://mwcnews.net/content/view/6390/26/1/1/
) . If Bush and Blair knew about the AWB scam and didn’t tell
Australia to desist, then they lied by omission and BETRAYED their own
people, their Coalition allies and their own soldiers in the field.
