A Palestinian civilian died
on Saturday of wounds he sustained a week earlier in the Gaza Strip
town of Rafah at a time when five other Palestinians were wounded by
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) gunfire in the northern West Bank city
of Nablus, Palestinian medical and security sources said.
Palestinian medical sources
said that Khaled Jarbou, 24, died in Rafah hospital after he succumbed
to the severe wounds he sustained when IOF shot him on April 20.
Also in Rafah, IOF soldiers
shot and wounded a Palestinian child in the al-Salam neighborhood, Palestinian
medical sources said.
4-year-old Hussam Al-Jazzar
was wounded in the leg after he was shot with live ammunition, hospital
sources said.
Palestinian security sources
said that Israeli occupation troops, stationed at the Palestinian-Egyptian
borderline, randomly opened fire at the neighborhood, damaging several
houses.
Meanwhile, three Israeli
bulldozers supported by four tanks invaded al-Qarara town near the southern
Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis and razed agricultural land, which were
planted with almond trees and wheat, witnesses said.
Also in the Gaza Strip, the
city of Beit of Hanoun witnessed a similar aggression by Israeli occupation
forces, who destroyed vast areas of lands planted with fruitful trees
such as olives, almonds and citrus.
The destroyed lands belong
to the families of Hamad, al-Basuni, al-Zaaneen and Saadat,
residents said.
In the West Bank city of
Nablus, Palestinian medical sources said that five citizens were shot
and injured when IOF opened fire at a peaceful demonstration to protest
the killing of a Palestinian cameraman Nazeeh Darwazeh, 41, who was
shot dead by Israeli soldier earlier on April 18.
Darwazeh was the third journalist
killed since the Palestinian uprising erupted 31 months ago.
The Governor of Nablus, Mahmoud
al-Aloul said that an Israeli occupation army backed by two tanks and
several jeeps raided the al-Quds street, east of the city.
The intensive IOF fire prevented
school children from returning safely to their homes, al-Aloul added.

Meanwhile on early Saturday,
IOF stormed a Palestinian police station and detained two Palestinian
policemen in the West Bank city of Qalqilia, Palestinian security sources
said.
The two detained policemen
were identified as Imad Hanash, 27, and Kamal Sabri, 19, security sources

In the Gaza Strip town of
Khan Younis, Israeli bulldozers destroyed a Palestinian police post,
Palestinian security sources said Friday.

and two tanks thrust into the al-Amal neighborhood and partially destroyed
a Palestinian Police post, Palestinian security sources in Gaza
