God's Chosen People, The Nazionists

My inspiration to write this comes from Eileen Fleming’s article “There’s Nothing Christian about Zionism” on Countercurrents.org—a web site of intellectual writers, honest and impartial to the very core. Her article can be read on http://www.countercurrents.org/fleming130610.htm. There were several things that stood out but what was most prominent was “What is Christian Zionism?” Her answer: Christian Zionism is an extremist Christian movement, which supports the claims of those who believe that the State of Israel should take control of all of the land currently disputed between Palestinians and Israelis. It views the creation and expansion of the modern state of Israel as a fulfillment of biblical prophecy toward the second coming of Jesus. Further on she writes the Christian Zionist program provides a worldview where the Gospel is identified with the ideology of empire, colonialism and militarism.

Extremism and terrorism are complementary. Nazis were both extremists and terrorists because they occupied countries of Europe by force and terrorised the Europeans—Jews and gentiles alike. According to US—a civilized nation, the barbaric Muslims are also extremists and terrorists because they stand against the democracy and freedom which the civilized world so dearly cherishes. That is why the US occupied Afghanistan and Iraq so the people of these countries can have the freedom and democracy at a gunpoint. Now that these countries are “occupied”, they’re free and democratic. Their argument carries a lot of weight that if we leave them, they’ll return to their barbaric ways so we need to deny them the basis necessities to make sure they remain free and democratic. Good argument. Yes, indeed, we must keep the barbarians that way (at gunpoint) or else they’ll come and terrorize us as they did on other occasions, notably 9/11.

But those that are truly free and democratic also wish to look the other way when it comes to the USS Liberty or the Mavi Marmara incident because the Jewish Zionists are God’s chosen people, chosen to do as they wish. Jehovah will bless those that bless thee (Zion) and curse those that curse thee—Genesis 12:3 (King James Version). This passage then is enough for the Zionists to get the blessings from the US and bomb the Muslims to extermination.

So is it that the Nazis were right to get rid of the Jews, occupy Europe to build an empire through colonialism and militarism? Isn’t that the same as the Zionist ideology based on God’s scripture? The world is obliged to let the Zionists have all the land that God has promised, from the Nile to the Euphrates (Genesis 15:18). In order to hang on to the Promised Land, the Zionists need to hold the extremist and terrorist Muslims hostage, disarm and denuclearize them (in the case of Pakistan) and also ensure that they (the Iranians) never possess nuclear weapons. Only Israel has the right to nuclear weapons because they’re God’s chosen people. Also, since God has promised them the lands, the oil and gas beneath the lands also belongs to them. Only Zionist Christians and Jews are God’s chosen people to do treat God’s un-chosen people, the extremists and terrorist Muslims of Palestine, Gaza, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan who deserve to be bombed and exterminated by whatever means God has given these Zionists. Now, where in the scripture does God give them that right? Maybe we are forgetting that God speaks to the Christian Zionists like Bush, Tony Blair, Obama, Merkel, Cheney and the fundamentalists through the Jewish Zionists, the comatose Sharon and Netanyahu in Israel, or even appear in their dreams?

Its now beginning to make a lot of logical sense that the Nazi and Zionist ideologies are complementary—they both believe in exterminating extremists and terrorists, occupying lands by militarism and colonization and, being a chosen people, be it by the devil or by God, to dominate the inferior races. My good friend NH combined the two ideologies into a new buzz, appropriately coining it as the NaZionists, God’s chosen people.

The Christians and Muslims believe in the second coming of Jesus and as the messiah but since when did the NaZionists? Or more specifically when did the Jews believe in his second coming? The Jews denied Jesus the first time and the chief priests and officers of the Sanhedrin (the Jewish court) condemned him before the Roman procurator Pontius Pilate who reluctantly ordered the crucifixion. The charges against Jesus were treason against state and blasphemy against God. These same priests also levelled grave and unsubstantiated charges against Mary, the mother of Jesus. Now one would ask, what will the NaZionists do when Jesus comes the second time as they so believe? Again levy charges of treason and blasphemy? Or as the false Messiah? If he is white with blond hair as depicted in Hollywood movies and he packs a six shooter and comes riding on a silver tank and fires into the crowds of Palestinians killing a few thousand, he is Jesus but what if he says I’ve come to save mankind and do justice in the name of my father? Are they going to take him before the US Supreme court and have him executed by lethal injection? The good Christians need to figure that one out.

It’s certainly an enigma why certain rightist Christians have so blindly prescribed to the Zionist ideology regarding the Biblical prophecies about the extent of the lands that God has granted the Jews or their right to terrorize the people on the lands they unjustifiably claim. The lands, if we agree, belong to the Jews then what are the Christian Zionists doing fighting on their behalf and getting their soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan? Eileen is correct in her analysis that the Christian Zionist program has used the Gospel to establish the ideology of empire, colonialism and militarism for the NaZionist global domination by exterminating Muslims who are simply in the way of hegemony. To use the gospel to justify terrorism, colonialism, hegemony and militarism is treason and blasphemy against God, the Christian faith and against decent Christians.
