The Ideology Of Zionism

Judaism and Zionism are not connected just as Islam and Wahabism are not. Judaism and Islam are canonical religions that have roots in shalom and salam (peace) whereas Zionism and Wahabism are ideologies whose roots are intertwined in extremism. Some Jews and even Christians relate with Zionism but all Jews do not necessarily relate with Zionism just as all Muslims do not necessarily relate with Wahabism.
The roots of modern Zionism can be traced to the Dreyfus affair in France in 1894. A young artillery officer, Alfred Dreyfus, the son of a wealthy Jewish textile owner in Alsace was convicted of treason but later vindicated. A Hungarian Jewish lawyer-turned-journalist, Theodore Herzl, was covering the trial and was convinced that anti-Semitism, prevalent not only in France but all over Europe, could only be prevented if the Jews had their own state. The yearning and a plan for a Jewish state was conceived in 1896 by Herzl and his colleague Max Nordau, in their manifesto Der Judenstaat or The Jewish State. Jews were then scattered all over the world-- in Europe, Americas, Russia and the Middle East.
Herzl has been termed as the father of modern Zionism. He conceived the emergence from Diaspora (scattering of Jews) and their return to Zion (not to be confused with Israel) since it was inconceivable that a homeland could ever be secured in Europe or elsewhere except Palestine, their historical claim. He needed the support for the homeland so any supporter would be a Zionist. Zionism is therefore the emergence of Jews from Diaspora to Zion which according to Exodus 23:31 extends from the Red Sea to the Euphrates to define the southern and eastern borders of the full land promised to the Israelites. According to present day borders, biblical Israel or Herzl’s Zion would include Egypt, Jordan. Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. Is that then the Zionist goal? Perceptibly so it seems.
Very briefly, we need to investigate how Herzl went about getting the support for the Jewish state. Herzl was not a politician but a shrewd and persistent diplomat with a plan. The plan was to pursue the Palestinian homeland. He died in 1904 but he left a legacy for future generations. Though proven or unproven that it is a forgery, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion seem to be the guiding principle. It first appeared in Russia in 1903, only 7 years after Der Judenstaat. In an interview published in the New York World February 17, 1921, Mr. Henry Ford put the case for the "Protocols of Zion" tersely and convincingly. He said: "The only statement I care to make about the Protocols is that they fit in with what is going on”. Why he said that was because he’d begun to sense that an effort was being made to take his business away from him and manipulate it into the hands of powerful Jewish financiers. Examining the current state of businesses that range from Hollywood to energy, media, defence, banking and financial institutions and positions that influence every political aspect, was Ford incorrect in his fear?
What is that which is so controversial about the protocols? It discusses such topics as economic control and world wide wars, control of the press (as mentioned in John Perkin’s book “Hoodwinked” mainstream media corporations were barely six namely Time Warner, Disney-ABC, Murdoch, Bertelsmann of Germany, Viacom-CBS and General Electric-NBC in 2005 from fifty in 1983), assault on religion (Christianity and Islam), ruthless suppression, brainwashing, abuse of authority, arrest of opponents, loans and credit, power of gold and qualities of rulers among others as a means to rule the world. Was Mr. Ford wrong when he made the statement that “…they fit in with what is going on”? Isn’t then equally true as now?
For all intents and purposes I’ve favoured the Jewish homeland called Israel. There is nothing wrong in having a homeland because every religious and ethnic race yearns for one. Pakistan was born out of the yearning and struggle for a Muslim homeland, distinctly separate from a Hindu homeland. India, predominantly Hindu has a harmonious structure with other religions. Malaysia is predominantly Muslim but existing in harmony with Hindus and Buddhists. Therefore Jews of Israel can co-exist with Muslims of Israel provided the same rights are granted to them but this is not the Zionist objective. What is wrong then and, which I cannot support, is to have a homeland out of a struggle but then keep on expanding those boundaries by wars and genocide. What I cannot support is a Zion that extends from the Nile to the Euphrates based on a unproven 2000 year old history. Jews must be content with the existing boundaries of Israel but the Zionists who’ve penetrated the economic, media, political and military establishments of USA and Europe have been resorting to blackmail to yearn a Zion to which they’ve no right. I cannot support hate against another religion that preaches peace as the name Islam implies or the genocide against its adherents, the Muslims.
Anti-Muslimism has evolved as a survival tactic for the Zionists. They harbour a fear that if they don’t suppress Muslims and if they don’t continue to wage a genocide against them, they will perish. They will, in fact, perish if this mindset prevails because if not sooner then certainly later the Muslims will rise against the Jewish homeland of Israel and the Zionist oppressors who govern Europe and USA. The western people and their leaders do not want them back. Today there is anti-Muslimism in the west; tomorrow again it could be anti-Semitism.
Hate and lies are the ugly truth about Zionism; its no longer about a homeland for Jews called Israel. And where I distance myself from Zionists and Nazis is that I cannot hate Jews, Christians, Hindus or anyone else. The Zionists should be cautioned that should they persist in indulgence of hatred and lies, they will be consumed by them just the same way Nazis were. It was Nazis that perished, not Germany. Iran’s Ahmedinejad warned that Zionism, the ideology, will be wiped off the pages of history, not Israel as a nation. No one desires to wipe Israel off the map. Zionism is now transparent and so are the Zionists as their arrogance has reached a zenith but in the process they’re making the world so much un-safer, much the same way as Nazis did to Europe. The west must stop empowering the Zionists and feeding their ego.
