Can The FBI-DOJ Probe Of New Orleans' Police Hurricane Katrina Shootings Facilitate A Banana Republic?

By Barbara Ann Jackson

Countercurrents.org

Decades of horrific Civil Rights violations by New Orleans police, by elected officials and by sitting judges, make it hard not to suspect the motives of the newly launched local FBI-DOJ probe into that year 2005 shootings of unarmed Hurricane Katrina victims and the coverup. Prior to national media attention, the local FBI and Justice Department had been glaringly indifferent to what took place; and Judge Bigelow's skewed dismissal of the criminal case against those officers, did not help those Katrina victims and their families receive justice.

There is no doubt in my mind, if the powers-that-be had any idea that the former NOPD supervisor would reveal the hatched covered up shooting of 6 unarmed people, the ex-cop would have been given a deal he could not refuse; or he would be assured that his loved ones would be very uncomfortable or unemployed. It is common knowledge that just about anything can happen to anyone by New Orleans police -and there could be no retribution for unlawful acts, unless / until someone takes a chance and publicly snitches (or some person has nothing else to lose by telling all).

This new FBI probe called a 'Civil Rights Investigation', will abet unjust invasions of privacy, witch-hunting, selective prosecution, patronage for elites and cronies, and augment political agendas. (Note: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., was no better off from FBI investigations and surveillance on him.) Alarmingly, neither citizens nor businesses in Louisiana are safe from sham probes that aids coverups, cooking the books. For example, the way the identities of the Canal Street Brothel "Johns" were concealed (no doubt to serve crony purposes or useful for future arm-twisting). Or, like doctored information that prevented federal Judge Thomas Porteous (whose impeachment hearing is now before the U.S. Congress) from a similar fate as the judges, sheriffs, and others who went to jail in the "Operation Wrinkled Robe" scandal. Yet, harbored federal and state courts in New Orleans are more corrupt than Gretna. (Even a federal court affidavit shows that the Clerk of Court steers newly-filed lawsuits to the judge of her choice, rather than randomly allot cases as civil procedure requires.) Irrefutable details and proof of these things is posted on my lawgrace.org website. Also, Internet search words like: New Orleans Inspector General, Justice for Sale, Jamaican Sunset, foreclosure frauds and judicial collusion, debt collection frauds, Louisiana legal climate ranked 2nd in the USA.

I make this statement because I believe the FOXES of New Orleans who are in charge of the HEN HOUSE need to be nationally observed in order to avert New Orleans from becoming -if it is not already, a Banana Republic.
