Thousands Demonstrate In West Bank In Support Of Gaza

In all the main cities in West Bank , people joined protests against the Israeli aggression.

From Nablus the Palestinian Information Center reported [1]:

All the main cities in the West Bank witnessed huge demonstration in support of the Gaza Strip and to condemn the latest Israeli aggression.

In Jerusalem , worshippers at al-Aqsa mosque marched after the Friday prayers, despite the fact that the Israeli occupation barred all men under the age of 40 from entering the Mosque. The march went in the direction of Bab al-Amoud where demonstrators were met by IOF soldiers firing teargas and rubber bullets to disperse them.

In Nablus Thousands participated in the demonstrations which Hamas called for in support of the besieged Gaza Strip and marched after the Friday prayers starting from the Naser mosque at the center of the city carrying Palestinian flags and the green Hamas flags.

They chanted in support of Gaza and against the Israeli occupation and aggression.

The march ended at the Shuhada' Square in the city where speeches were delivered at the rally. Speakers from different factions called for unity and praised the unity of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip and the fact that they have set up a unified operations room.

Similar demonstrations took place across the West Bank , in Tulkarem, Ramallah and al-Khalil, the city from which the family of assassinated Qassam leader Ahmad al-Jaabari hails from.

Hundreds of citizens in the city of Nablus , Thursday evening have participated in a massive march in support of the Gaza Strip, where participants praised the heroic Palestinian resistance and called to free the Palestinian resistance in the West Bank .

Hundreds of citizens from different affiliations roamed the streets of the commercial center in the city of Nablus , chanting slogans glorifying the Palestinian resistance, especially the Brigades of the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam, and carried Palestinian flags and banners, they also raised banners calling to stop the aggression on Gaza , PIC reporter said.

In an exclusive interview with PIC correspondent, Member of the Palestinian Legislative Council, Mona Mansour called on the PA to "release the political detainees in its security jails, and to stop security coordination and negotiations with the occupation."

MP Mansour also called on PA "to return to the ranks of the Palestinian people", noting that "this aggression on Gaza is an opportunity for PA to return to the embrace of its people, otherwise the history will override it and it will not have an honorable mention in the history of the Palestinian people."

Hamas and the national and Islamic forces in Nablus have called to demonstrate after Friday prayers starting from Nasser mosque to support Gaza and protesting against the Israeli aggression.

In Tunisia , thousands of Tunisians demonstrated after Friday prayer in many Tunisian cities against the Israeli brutal attacks on Gaza , the PIC correspondent reported [3].

Several hundred protesters, gathered on Habib Bourguiba Avenue in the centre of Tunis . They chanted slogans such as "No to reconciliation," and "The people want to criminalize normalizing relations with the Israeli entity."

In Sousse , coast of Tunisia , many Tunisian associations have organized a sit-in protesting against the Israeli crimes on the unarmed people of the Gaza strip, calling for criminalizing normalization and dealing with the Israeli occupation.

In Sfax, southern Tunisia , hundreds of people demonstrated in support of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza strip, calling the international community and all the free people of the world to stop this aggression against the Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, the Tunisian President adviser for International Affairs Anwar al-Garbi confirmed that the Tunisian Foreign Minister Rafik Abdessalam will visit Gaza accompanied by an official Tunisian delegation to protest the Israeli aggression and to support the Palestinian steadfastness.
