Rohingya Boat Migrants Call Out For Help

By BBC News

16 May, 2015
BBC

Hundreds of Myanmar migrants stranded on a boat for a week in the Andaman Sea with no food or water are so desperate they are drinking their own urine. The fishing boat, carrying people of the Muslim Rohingya minority, has been refused entry to Thailand and 10 people are already said to have died. The BBC's Jonathan Head visited the site and said it was "the most extraordinary scene" with desperate people calling out for help.
